2. Go to this URL. https://www.aircanada.com/en/go-beta.html
3. Click on book travel Button at the top left of the screen.
Alternatively for some clicking on one the following links will work for some as well.

No perfection of form OR content OR function.
Just booked 4 tickets online, all AC flights, for close to $8000. Couldn't select seats...had to phone Air Canada. The person I spoke with (who was very good) said she was going to send a complaint to their IT dept. (probably a couple of guys named Gilbert and Jedi operating out of someone's basement).

LMAO
The AC agent I spoke with the other day didn't believe me when I told her seats could not be selected during purchase, that in Manage Bookings, the "Seat select" option was grayed out, that if you clicked it, it said
(also, nice white space)
So as she was busy typing away a trouble report, I reminded her that it's been almost 2 months since I noticed rows were missing on the seats maps and apparently AC IT can't find the missing rows....as they are still missing.....
Oh let's see, what else.
Ah, then she tested what I told her about not being able to book seats (despite my repeated offers to email her the screen shots) and yep, she came to the same conclusion
And yet, here we are

Another 'cool' feature of the 'details' click-joy is that it adds an hour to your trip. All of a sudden it takes 2h40 to fly YHZ-YOW on the 'undefined' aircraft type...aka CRA/CR9
Talk about an improvement!
What's hilarious, if the IT geniuses had simply replaced the 'details' hyperlink with the flight number and aircraft type in the exact same spot, there would be almost the same amount of white space.

And the new site is still unusable from overseas. The "site selection" (which allows you to pick your location for purchase if you are detected to be somewhere other than Canada) still doesn't work. Congrats AC. Your site is now unusable to 99.5% of the world's population. That is quite an achievement. Drunken clumsy monkeys could do better.

I had my first experience with the "new" website last night to book a relatively simple itinerary. It is an unbelievable jumble without any logic nor clarity. In particular, it was not clear if I had in fact selected my desired outbound, or had more clicks to go, or had in fact moved on to the return flight. But they are being crafty in trying to trick you into things you do not want. Seat selection pops up with the prices, but does not explicitly say you can ignore that step if you want. And the payment page, which shows a discount alongside an AMEX application, is the sort of marketing nonsense I abhor.
But more than anything, I cannot imagine anyone with little knowledge of flights, successfully completing all the byzantine steps. It used to be so simple "in the good old days".

I hate the new booking engine
I can't sort by price or duration and I can't see the aircraft easily. Bring back the old one please. I'm actually looking on Aeroplan first to find the flights I want. That's saying something.
