Accessing the "old" website.
At the moment (09-Sep-2016) accessing the old and functional website is still possible.
The procedure to access the old website requires a few steps.
1. Clear all aircanada.com related cookies and browser cache.
2. Go to this URL. https://www.aircanada.com/en/go-beta.html
3. Click on book travel Button at the top left of the screen.
Alternatively for some clicking on one the following links will work for some as well.

New Air Canada Website!
How do you like the new Air Canada website?
Pretty sexy eh? I like the handholding through searching inventory.
I'm sure the improvements are not just skin deep...

Ok, looks like I was accessing it before it was ready for prime time. It was giving me the mobile version while using firefox, chrome, edge, safari sending desktop agent strings.
New skin... again, hope it's more than skin deep.

Why does everything 'web 2.0' have to be so BIG? Looks ridiculous on my 30" display.
Seat planner looks the same and there are bugs with the aircraft type detail window that pops up.

I will give it this: Easier on my tablet-sized touchscreen for sure. My fat finger can select the correct dates. Totally sexy in grey circa 2013.

The seat selection tool for non ac.com bookings is now broken (https://www.aircanada.com/en/traveli...flinepnrs.html)
If anyone can find the new link please post.

Thi is what happens when someone designs a website without properly researching and reviewing the Information Architecture with the stakeholders (users) of it.
If I click on Altitude, I want to see the Altitude website - or at least have a LINK that goes to it, instead of just information pages.
