If you moved PY ahead of credit cards and *G, it would be a slight increase in priority to PY, and a slight decrease to cc/*G.
I'm still waiting for zone 0: SE in J

AC's implementation of that: "AC is pleased to announce that flight 1234 is now available for priority boarding, passengers in zones 1-5 are welcome to board"

I can just imagine 9 groups on a Beechcraft 1900.

Preferred seats should be 2.8.
After everyone with a child aged 0 to 16
(seems to) board.
Let's face it AC can't handle
5/6 zones (zone 2.5 is real right? Does it ever get offered?). Would going to 9 improve it? Has a Z5 pass turning up at Z3 time ever been turned away?
I get that many here aren't concerned beyond Z1/Z2, hey I'm one of them for the next 12 months but am I going to hit elite status this year? Probably not. So then I'm back to Z3 seats or kicking out $400 for a card and hoping they don't check my income.
or purchasing Lat/J 🤔

I don't know why, but having so many boarding zones with rules becoming more and more complicated reminds me of the income tax brackets...

But until they can display the number on a screen, there's always going to be someone coming up saying "is it my turn yet?"

Perhaps I am placing to much confidence in the ability of IT to collaborate and deliver across the alliance.

Who was it who once posted somewhere that:
1. all of these boarding zones were designed to give those that each airlines perceives as more valued customers, first opportunities to board. (eg. You may be in Zone 1, but you obviously don't have to board first)
2. Zone boarding is not efficient
I recall a thread from more than a year ago, where someone posted studies showing efficient "techniques". Since no airline I know of uses "efficient techniques", the only thing we can all hope for is that everyone who supposed to be on a flight does board and departure is close to on-time.

I'm assuming this was in jest; but seriously do they? Are cleaning staff provided by the airline or the airport; like baggage handlers? I've never worked anywhere that employs cleaners directly, it's always through an agency that supplies 'generic' cleaners as needed. Never worked at an airport that said.
Somewhere like PSP which gets so few AC flights compared to say... YVR; surely AC wouldn't have cleaning staff. Or maybe they share them at these sort of outposts?
