You cant use the website for 3 stops, so how did you enter this in online to validate?

I can't speak for the poster, but Aeroplan's multi city does accept YYZ-JNB, JNB-SIN, SIN-YYZ as a valid itinerary (below all econ, last leg PY)

Sept 14 YVR-CAI-JNB
Oct 9 JNB-SIN
Oct 23 SIN-HKG-YYZ

I have no clue what it's deciding to use as POT, but I would like to know the reasoning as to how having HKG as a stop instead of a connection breaks the itin.

Just looked it up on the Aeroplan website. SIN is the POT, but the MPM is 15441, which is different than the wiki. So, the outbound via JNB is good...still doesn't explain why the agent said via HKG is valid, but via PEK is not.

yvr to jnb is longer than sin, so it puts jnb as the POT and sin as a stopover?
YVR
SIN306°(NW)290°(W)7,967 mi
YVR
JNB054°(NE)038°(NE)10,229 mi

From YVR yes. The post of mine that you quoted was departing from YYZ, so SIN would be the POT.

A true miniRTW:

YYZ HND AC J. STOP
NRT SIN SQ Y A380 (hoping to get J later. I keep watching)
SIN SYD SQ J. STOP
SYD BKK TG J
BKK FRA TG J (a380)
FRA AMS LH Y for now. STOP
AMS YYZ AC J (for now hoping to get LH later)

300k for 2! I thought it was 320 but the email says 300. Fees 1200 per person. Totally worth it!^

So I got tired of waiting for J to open up on one of my SQ flights so I paid to change to:

YYZ HND AC J. STOP 777
HND FUK ANA Y (6am flight in Y but totally worth it to catch the SQ flight...though I have read on here that people get bumped up to J, right?)
FUK SIN SQ J NEW 787 that has replaced the A330. (overnight in transit hotel)
SIN SYD SQ J STOP
SYD BKK TG J
BKK FRA TG J (a380)
FRA AMS LH Y for now. STOP
AMS YYZ AC J

FUK SIN was waitlisted for a bit then I called and spoke to a great super who helped.
I have also used avios to get around Australia and NZ but I shouldn't mention it here without being dethreaded! ha.

Hopes this helps people plan! This thread is great by keeping ONLY the routings.

Help , pick a cool route for me

Hey everyone,

First time redeeming an Aeroplan international reward here and reading all your routes has truly inspired me to expand my horizons. Looking for some suggestions/ideas of interesting routings/stop overs to add to this route.

100,000 economy reward Canada to Africa return

Departing in YEG , staying in ADD for a week then returning home to YEG, looking for some interesting stopovers on the return leg

so far itinerary goes like this:

YEG-YYZ-ADD stay in ADD for a week

ADD- ???-YEG (or however routing permits) staying in mystery spot for 3-4 days before flying home to YEG

your input and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

If time permits, you can have two "mystery spots."
You could continue south to JNB, WDH, CPT.
North through CAI, IST or anywhere in Europe. West through DKR or ACC.
Or continue east and return home through India, Asia.
Pick two or three places you want to see and resign yourself to seeing other destinations on another trip.

YYZ-IAD UA in Y
IAD-ADD-SIN ET in J
SIN-SGN (Stop) SQ in J
SGN-BKK-HKT (Destination) TG J/Y
HKT-BKK TG Y
BKK-TPE-VIE BR J
VIE-LIS (Stop) TP J
LIS-YYZ TP J

$244 total + booking fee.

Had to be in Vietnam at certain times for the CX mistake fare. When Turkish/Lot availability disappeared I almost cried. Finally figured out this one.

YEG-YWG AC Y
YWG-ORD UA F <24h stop for a concert
ORD-YYZ AC J
YYZ-IST TK J
IST-KUL TK J STOP
KUL-SIN SQ J DEST
SIN-BKK SQ J
BKK-TPE BR J
TPE-FUK BR J STOP
FUK-ICN OZ J
ICN-LAX OZ J A380
LAX-YVR AC J
YVR-YEG AC J

$445 + booking fee (x2 tix). YQ+YR shows as $180, but wanted to try OZ and the A380 so went with it.

Spent a while on hold while apparently, AC verified that routing was not cabotage; layover in ORD is overnight so it worked.
