From the link you posted:

Codeshare flights marketed by EVA Air and operated by non-Star Alliance airlines are not eligible.
Also, looking at their website - https://www.uniair.com.tw/uniairec/index1.aspx - there are no star alliance logos whatsoever... Doubt you'll get any credit for this flight.

Eva Award Space?

I am looking for YVR-TPE on BR in May 2015, and see a strange picture:

- UA website shows award space wide open in economy and business
- NH website shows award space in economy only, and shows that business cabin does not exist on the flight
- LM website shows award space in economy only
- Aeroplan website shows absolutely no award space in any class

What's going on?

Maybe AE has 'sold' it's allocation of award seats while the other programs can still pull a seat or two?

I have booked a couple of reward flights with BR, both at relatively short notice (
less than 30 days before flying), and have always found easy availability.

Maybe you are looking at a holiday or something similar?

With 35K posts, shouldn't you know that's not how it works?

Aeroplan website does not show full availability. Search FT for the ANA tool and use that, call in to AP, feed flight codes and book.

I had a very easy time snagging one of many available TPE-YYZ J slots, YVR should be no different.

Aircraft type ex YVR not as good as ex YYZ. SEA a better choice than YVR IIRC

lol ^ no kidding.

Answer is simple: AE prefers scamchargeable airlines - which BR is not.

Its been proven, AE will only display a certain number of options, scamcharges first.

Look at Eva award space on ANA in May 2015. ANA says there is no business class cabin YVR-TPE. Same for SFO-TPE. Something is wrong here.
