All I want to do is book an intra-Asia award on BR. Without BR availablily flights convert into pinball type journeys lasting all day If I try to book on Aeroplan website. Scamcharges are one thing, but I don't want to fly for 12 plus hours when I could do same with BR with a much shorter trip (Almost heresy to say that at FT).

Really annoying they can't fix the issue, and to top it off they likely will want their $30 +HST cut as well.

I swear YYZ-TPE and CDG-TPE was unavailable in the last hour

Now, using flisea.com

YYZ-TPE, June 2015, shows Y available, no J (strange, or all booked?)
CDG-TPE, June 2015, shows Y and J on all flights
TPE-HKG, this week, shows Y and J on all flights

FINALLY fixing the bug, after it became public (on lucky's blog)? ha ha

Hooray!

Glad to see some pot stirring got it to work.

I was able to book BR late last night by calling and asking the agent to do it manually. At the time it was still not showing on the website.

So someone seems to have flipped the magic switch.

I did a spot check of BR award space - everything seems to have returned to normal with both close-in and far out availability on NA, Europe and Regional routes matching up with what I can see on the ANA search engine. ^ Whew.

July 2015 is too far out for the schedule to be loaded yet, I believe. Usually Lufthansa in my experience loads out the farthest but I don't expect anything to be higher than 11 months out (330 days) for the most part.

Switched to BR for a ticket issued yesterday. Expecting $568 refund. Also, more suitable itinerary.

Burned my one free change in the process. Oh well.

I paid the $101. My savings were $268. Just the one AC scam on there. Which was overall not such a bad one as I am now coughing up a longer route.

But: RIMOWA KIT.

I will do almost anything to get one.

you can find one around $40-$50 on eBay

But yes, I'd gladly pay $90+tax to change to BR, just to stick it to AC/Aeroplan, and obviously for better hardware/food/service also

I was trying to book one for my aunt. She has no status with AC. Since the BR flight she wants was not bookable but available on Starnet, I called and spoke with a supervisor. He marked her file to allow a free change if the BR flight becomes bookable again. Last night, I called in and had her flights changed for free, and surcharges refunded.

Kudos to that supervisor, he bailed the company out by offering this nice gesture of agreeing to waive the change fee.^
