All about Eva (BR); AP numbers recognized, earning & award info, seat assignment
Just entered our Aeroplan numbers in an EVA booking.
Accepted them and recognizes gold status.
(It's already the 18 at TPE.)

I'm flying the tail end of a mini-RTW, BKK-VIE-LHR on OS in J. Paying the YQ but its at least their newest plane with great catering. I'm hoping to transfer to BKK-LHR on BR if there is no YQ though...will save over $300 in YQ and airport taxes per person.

Woo hoo, going to enter my A3 Gold into my BR reservation now
It is correctly recognized as 1217XXXXXGLDT
Although I want to collect Aeroplan instead of A3.... should I just show my A3 Gold card at check-in?
It's unclear what *G benefit will apply, 1 extra luggage, or simply "extra weight allowance from 23kg to 28kg"
NVM, looks like 1 extra 20kg baggage (for Per Piece system)
http://www.evaair.com/en-global/infi...nd-privileges/
Guessing that my Economy (B) class should be 100%

their website shows they are part of the Star Alliance.......... or should i call it the Scam Alliance?
Anyways, searching on AP on their availability now!
Looks like AP scam prioritize seat availability

However the Aeroplan site is not yet aware of BR. My guess is, tomorrow? Some other programs already have them.

They;re still not recognizing BR for reward redemptions on AE. I have confirmed on the BR website that there is availability for the flights I want but AE does not list it.
Will call in later today and see if they can find the seats manually.
This thread on FT is updating mileage accruals as they are announced: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other...liance-17.html
