I'm afraid the wiki needs a little update.

And that's the beauty of Wikis - anyone with access is free to edit them. (In the case of FT, that means either 90 posts/90 days or 180 posts/180 days.)

I didn't know about the 4K drop on the aeroplan Gold. Thanks for the heads up, but it stinks that it happened.

Typically 12 months, but I have, in my *ahem* lab *ahem*, gotten it down to 8.

Agh. Guess I'm getting the Amazon card in the meantime. Need a card without FX fees, not much choice

Very disappointing with the Aeroplan Gold changes. Was planning to sign up via the wife's referral very soon as it was a painless 30,000 pts. Have to really re-think, especially with the $120 fee. Ouch.

Yeah, complete shame... I can't recommend it at all anymore. Just not worth it... even though it got me so many referral points :P

With the AP Gold and the SPG no longer FYF, it's really changed our family's app strategy. We'll probably start churning the, gulp, AM Plat now. With referrals, it's worth about $220 in GCs, which is better than nothing.
