No PDB on HND-EWR, but: will give a pass.
Got to gate 5 minutes before boarding time. Saw that incoming plane came in late (30 mins), and all FA were sitting down amongst passengers. Boarding time on screen showed a delayed boarding time of +30 minutes.
Crew was let on-board, and passengers soon followed.
No PDB, but we left on-time and arrived at EWR early.

Nice crew, was offered mid-flight snack (tomato soup and toast) but declined.
Slippers at seat. Not sure about pajamas, but saw someone wear them.

SEA ORD - nothing at all. Plenty of time. Passable service in the air.
ORD IAH - PDB as you like it! No tray! I love it when I (very rarely) get these FAs.

PDB on three out of five flights this week. It’s the inconsistency of UA that is really annoying.

10/11 MCO EWR, 757-200 5pmish. Processo advertised as champagne, or water. Decent service overall.

Had my first unrestricted PDB of the year today on UA1198 from PIT to SFO. FAs asked what we’d like to drink open endedly. Nice change from the “water or oj” routine I’ve experienced up until this point.

9 OCT
ORD-EWR 10:18am

Water or Mimosa. Only.

good crew otherwise.

10/1 - ALB-ORD Water or OJ only
10/1 - ORD-SJD Water or OJ only (but once in the air the FA was super awesome and constantly walking up and down the aisle to see if anyone needed anything).

Would be nice, IMO, if they consistently offered sparkling wine or "full" PDB.

Have you previously asked & been denied? IMO on about twenty domestic & international flights this year, my requests for a made-to-order PDB have been satisfied more than 90% of the time.

ORD-STL on an A319 first time in ~4 years I've been offered PDB of choice (on United). FA came around asking if anyone wanted a drink or cocktail, G&T was served
STL-ORD E175 - Water or OJ

Yesterday I was at a MileagePlus Exclusives flight attendant training session at the new United Flight Training Center at IAH. Someone asked what the official PDB policy is and we were told that time permitting in the morning its OJ + water, after 12PM its champagne or water, any FA asking "Can I get you anything to drink?" is going above and beyond the policy.

I don't know if I should post in this thread or in the boarding thread, but I'm currently sitting on UA 901 SFO-LHR.

Obviously I was not one of the first on, because I'm not GS, 1K, or military. I'm able bodied and don't have kids. But I think I was on by 1200 for a 1230 departure, and lane 1 (or whatever it's called) was still in active use before and after I boarded.

But we're about to push back, and it seems like some people were given a PDB, presumably those who were able to preboard. My party of 4 are all just paid J, and we were not offered anything.

So any FA offering a mimosa is going above and beyond...hmmm.

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like the trainer could use a refresher.
