Let's use this thread to report actual delivery of the packets and comments about the kit contents.
Please no "nothing yet" posts , at least until we get to 31 Jan 2019, when that may mean there is an issue. UA just states you should get the kit in January.
In the past, UA has used mystatus.united.com to report shipment status of the kits.
Not confirmed yet, the link on mystatus.united.com for requesting luggage tags suggests there may be no physical Silver or Gold membership kits for 2019. Appears confirmed no Gold / Silver cards are requestable
Also new this year is the "welcome letter" on mystatus.united.com

Yes, at the beginning there were issues but if this was still an issue I would have expected some FT posting this year. So at this point, we can probably state this is no longer a widespread issue and at worse a very limited problem.
Between the BP designation or the virtual UA MP card, things seem to be working. At least to the extent that the costs of hundred's of thousands of actual cards for UA Gold (estimated to be something between 300-500K Gold members) is needed.

And the drinks tickets, which I was not expecting.
I hit the status level in mid-Oct, so it took about five weeks to get the package in the mail, but I am in Canada so it was probably slowed down by at least a week.

Membership wallet card, bag tags, benefits brochure and a personal letter from Oscar.

Only get the membership package mid-year if you qualified for a higher status than you previously had for the year, otherwise, you should get a membership package in mid-late January.
If you did qualify for a higher level, then it takes 4-6 weeks (still too eary for a late Oct qual) to get the new level membership package and sometime about now, UA stops doing mid-year packs as we get close to the end of the year.
