Let's use this thread to report actual delivery of the packets and comments about the kit contents.
Please no "nothing yet" posts , at least until we get to 31 Jan 2019, when that may mean there is an issue. UA just states you should get the kit in January.

In the past, UA has used mystatus.united.com to report shipment status of the kits.
Not confirmed yet, the link on mystatus.united.com for requesting luggage tags suggests there may be no physical Silver or Gold membership kits for 2019. Appears confirmed no Gold / Silver cards are requestable
Also new this year is the "welcome letter" on mystatus.united.com

2019 Premier Kit discussion - contents, pictures, actual delivery, ....

Folks, I don't think there's a thread this year yet — Mod, please feel free to merge if I've missed one! — has anyone received the 2019 premier kit so far?

Waiting eagerly for new luggage tags here. If you've gotten yours, please post pics

Am I the only one that notices old school 1k tags with personalized names on them? That's legit stuff that I miss :P granted all mine broke at one point because you know...plastic.

Miss those.

These days I just write my MP# on the tag. Security issue so no one knows where I live (if I am traveling then I am not at home).

I have a vague memory that UA had a site where you could look up the status of your packet, but can't find it. An I making this up?

I'm sure it's rare, but what about when you're not flying United?

I only write my phone number and email address on my tag.

There is one bag I use for non UA travel (I do fly OAL) and it has my EK and DL tags. Same thing FF# only.

All my bags also have a couple of business cards in them.

Flying out the first of the year, returning in late January.

Don't think I would need 2019 virtual cards -- Gold Premier here.

No idea where mine is and don't really care TBH - I take the physical card with expiration date, see if the luggage tags aren't too cheap, and give away my drink certs to UA-flying work colleagues.

Anyone know what email to use to request a real plastic member card these days?

Have not seen one for years and printing out one on copy paper, as UA website unhelpfully suggests, seems a bit Air Bhutan, to me anyway.

Just had an issue getting into Asian Lounge her in Seoul as our next flight is Ethiopian Air in Biz to Addis Ababa (Star Partner) but Asiana can't see their systems they say, and cannot issue boarding passes.

Asiana in Sydney could not that either which was odd but they could and did check bags thru to ADD. Go figger.

Anyway, is there an EMAIL address likely to actually generate a hard plastic card these days?

Thanks in advance!
