Recent changes to United's policy on pajamas and slippers increased the official availability from flights '12+ hours' to flights '14+ hours'.
There are currently (October/November 2023) mixed reports about actual availability, with some shorter than 14-hour flights still being provisioned with pajamas and slippers.
The printed on-board menu reads:
"Sleep soundly in the sky
Slippers are available by request on all international flights, along with pajamas for flights scheduled 14+ hours.
Ask your flight attendant if you'd like them."
Previous Wiki updated February 22, 2023, left here until final eligible routes can be established:
"On flights longer than 12 hours, we also offer 100% cotton pajamas upon request." (https://www.united.com/web/en-US/con...laris-FAQ.aspx )
Pajamas are provisioned for about half of the eligible seats.
Flights with pajama service (for both directions)
SFO - ICN, PEK, PVG, TPE , AKL , HKG , CTU, SYD, TLV, SIN
EWR - TLV, NRT, PEK , DEL, BOM, HKG, PVG, CPT, JNB
ORD - NRT, PEK, PVG, HKG
LAX - PVG, SYD, MEL
IAD - NRT, PEK
IAH - NRT, SYD

New flights have been added, and some flights ended)
Note: United employee shop sells pajamas for $9.99 a pair as of 12/10/20

Maybe an opportunity to change the color. We use the top part as sweatshirts at home. My wife thinks that dark grey is not an appropriate color for spring. Anything blue would be better. We have 23 pairs of the United ones and 2 pairs of navy blue BA First Class ones.

None loaded on UA88 (PEK-EWR) 2/16 either. Cabin crew very apologetic, and noted that none were loaded on the way over either.
Unrelated (or at least I think unrelated) -- my standards for cuisine are not super high, but the fish stick passing for "pan-seared fish fillet" was chewier than a dog toy. Already sent a note about both issues.

Got PJs in both directions to/from Middle Earth:
SFO-AKL on Feb 10 (UA 917) and yesterday Feb 22 on the AKL-SFO (UA 916) return.
On the 777-300 the best place to change is the disabled restroom in front of 9A.

UA 29 on 2/22 had a couple. The FAs were not offering them and I only saw 4 people in them (including myself). Not sure if they ran out or nobody was asking.

Curious if anyone has requested compensation for the the missing PJ's and what the going rate is? I have a SIN trip in a few weeks and I would definitely be inconvenienced if the promised PJ's were missing
Probably a $50 - $100 ETC.

They would probably offer you miles. Worth a try-PJs are part of the marketed Polaris "package" on certain flights.
