DL has done 757 maintenance, interior mods, and winglet work at SAT. UA must have joined in.

N897UA (319 add from China Southern) is showing up as part of UA's fleet according to planespotters but I haven't seen a flight into LCQ for it yet though.

Not to spread rumors but UA pilots are hearing that UA is close to inking a deal on another 30 used A319s.

We will see what happens but UA has said publicly several times in the last year or so they are in the market for used A320/A319s.

Not sure if it was in this thread, but it was posted that there will be a lot more opportunity to fly. Suppose if pilot time is added, so will FA time.

But I thought that UA soured on 319 and/or 73G as being too small.

This will finish off all ordered 787-9s
Are all 787's staffed by sCO FAs? I know the pilots are unified so its kinda of a wash on those.

Yep, reported here last week:

Interesting...

All of the 788s and most of the 789s are staffed by sub CO FAs.

Haven't the 3 sUA 789s already been handed back to sCO in exchange for the first 3 77Ws? Or are the 77Ws also a mix of sCO/sUA crews?

N4888U - ex China Southern 319 (B-6240) delivered to UA. It made its way to NRT based on video of it landing at NRT but no further record of it can be found following the normal route to ANC then to LCQ.
N897UA - ex China Southern 319 (B-6241) marked as delivered to UA but I haven’t been able to identify the normal series of transfer flights yet.

2 319s and a 320 in such a short period of time is great news
Juventini and UAinAUS like this.
