Thanks. Very helpful. Looks like I will get the refund.

70060 miles?

It's a good thing this wasn't posted when I re-priced my existing ticket.
Just changed my one way partner South Asia C award at 80,000 miles to the rate on sale. So, previously issued awards can be changed even when inventory no longer exists. No charge for 1K. However, a supervisor had to do it and the charge was a very strange 70,060 miles. I did not argue.

Damn I should have been paying closer attention on 1/31 before status dropped to 0. Were people able to get in F on partners the UA F price? Would have been nice to upgrade to OZ F or 10K miles back in OZ J.

Not possible

That's the issue about this policy

Like if I were to go on Lufthansa F I would not pay the extra 110-57.5= 42.5k miles for First if I'm coming out of Houston (no access to FCT & escort)

I feel better then, Oh well would have been nice to get 10K back but sounds like above Australia was excluded? I'm on a Ex NZ flight connecting at ICN.

LH J is coming up in May at 70K points ICN-FRA-JFK when shopping for a new award 5/25 but sadly not an approved routing

Got email offering savings on Saver Business awards

Book by 2/28 for travel thru end of year.

For instance, Europe to North America is 57.5k instead of 70k and South Asia to North America is 70k instead of 80k

Smile Must be Targeted

SCHLEY told me something about this last week. I've received butkus from UA MP and when I check sample itineraries I do not see the discount.

Enjoy it while you can !!!

Chart is here (essentially making some *A level = UA level). Good luck finding inventory:

One of the terms is:

If a wholly unused ticket is exchanged for travel outside of the promotion period or travel that does not otherwise comply with the terms and conditions of this promotion, the mileage will be credited back into the member's account, subject to an applicable service charge, and a new ticket will be issued at the mileage redemption rate commensurate with the new award.

My offer came in email early this AM. I do not see anything in the terms that would make it appear to be targeted. Must purchase by 2/28. I am sure there will not be much inventory. UA won't do anything so generous by increasing available inventory.

This offer has been quietly available since the beginning of February. I booked my business class BOS-CDG trip on Lufthansa on Feb 2. This was for April travel. It simply showed up as a reduced number of miles required in the availability display.

As far as I can tell this is the same deal that was being discussed previously where some routes on partners were pricing in saver business at UA metal rates. Was on UA's web site, but the email (which I got also) was the first outbound message.

Unfortunately the promo came around the same time Asiana space seems to have been pulled from the website.

I was looking yesterday for an itinerary for Mrs. Cargojon coming up next month. I found several that would work, you have to be slightly flexible with dates (and I have 3-4 origin airports at my disposal) but I found at least 4 that would work for this trip.
