Heard thru the inflight grapevine that Moscow Mules will now be offered free in F, and that they will accept drink coupons in Y. Definitely a nice change for once.

Of course I see this four days after paying for one in Y

(Good beverage overall, and it seemed a better value than the other booze offerings on a servings/dollar basis.)

ORD-DEN 530am Airbus 320, Choice of Scrambled Eggs or Oatmeal. I went with the Oatmeal, it was a bit watery, but it did the job for a morning flight.

DEN-ORD 1pm 757, Choice of Chicken Cobb Salad/Soup or Cheeseburger on a Pretzel Bun/potato salad. I chose the Cheeseburger and it was fantastic. Sounds odd, I don't really eat burgers, but this was just great!!!

Service was also fantastic on both flights! DEN-ORD was the best service I've experienced in a very long time. And thx for channel 9 being turned on. Awesome flight!

Pretty sure I saw them in the galley on one of the flights...baked in some type of brownie tin and then cut. Also it is why they are being served on the plastic plate instead of the cookie sleeve, I think.

Anyway, the presentation as noted above is just pretty poor. I like when United tries some variety, but they just don't seem to think it through very well.

I think the cookie sleeves are history. The regular cookies are also served on the plastic plates.

Pre-mix in a container that apparently is good for 2 servings. Advertised in current in-flight magazine but was not available 10/1 OGG-SFO. Crafthouse, 200mL.

Does it require 1 or 2 drink tickets? If 1, good deal.

Meal: Dinner

"Teriyaki" chicken; this was more of a basic stir-fry without a real teriyaki flavor. Chicken, yellow and green peppers, served with fried rice with carrots, peas and corn. A side salad and a roll were served also. The other choice was a chicken salad.

Chocolate-chip cookies were served after dinner.
I got the exact same menu going the opposite direction out of DEN

DEN-ORD
Oct 2015 - Dinner
737

Service was really poor. Took 45 minutes for service to start. No first round of service with drinks and nuts...just everything dropped at once on the tray. Entree was cold. No wine offered until after I was finished with the meal.

Lazy. Lazy. Lazy. :-:

If you check the back page of Hemisphere magazine, it says that drink chit is not allowed to purchase Moscow Mule.
