Check your seat assignment now
Mar 3 - integration and lost seat assignment
After the new system came back, some of my seat assignments were gone.
I talked to an agent and she couldn't get my seat back either.
She said someone got that seat and she couldn't put me back......
I asked to talk to a supervisor and she transferred me.
The supervisor said that I has never reserved that seat......
If you don't know what happen, just say you don't know.
Don't blame your customer when he has a copy of his itinerary with seat
assignment.
Check your seat assignments especially if you are on direct flight in an exit row.
Mar 4 - Dircet flight and seat assignment (My problem's solution)
I lose my exit row seat which I book 6 months ahead and now I don't have
bulk seat or exit row available on B747....
You can argue that the seat assignment is not guarantee and I will tell you that
if I can't get exit row or bulk row on UA's B747, I would rather choose other
carrier. Why I maintain my status to be bumped out from my seat?
Since the seat assignment is not guaranteed, the new COmpany can run
a program to bump elites out of their seat while they sell those seats to
non-elites. They will only tell you that the seat assignment is not guaranteed
and someone has taken that seat. They won't explain why and you won't know
why. There is nothing we can do now.......
It's just like UA have the right to change the program as they did to all elites
and MMs and they have the right to screw up your trip or seat assignments.
"I am sorry that I screw you up while you pay to become an elite. There is nothing
we can do and I think you will like the change."
The best part is that I can make a new reservation on the same flight and same day and
the exit row seats are all available.
It's their IT issue and they blame customers.
The same day and the same flight on my reservation:
People with no status who make a new booking will see:
Mar 24 - Schedule change effects seat assignment
Super annoying.
Another schedule change and all my seat assignments are gone.
I called 1K desk and the agent was not able to help as well.
Another even more annoying thing is that when you check current
reservations, the schedule change won't show up.
You have to go into each reservation to see is any schedule change.
I had to go through 12 of my reservations to see that.
Besides of the award booking on COdbaUA.bomb, I miss .bomb
Update-Seats come back around 4 pm CTS
I went through each reservation for about 15 minutes and I got all the seat back.
Still very annoying that I needed to go through each reservation to make sure
everything was right.

The seat assignment is still there. However all my miles (lifetime, this year) have disappeared and show 0. Hmmmmm.

One of my exit row seats is gone and no other exit rows available on that flight.
Also can't choose other economy plus seat.
Called the agent and she told me to call back in an hour or 2 as she couldnt do anything now because of the system upgrade.

What kind of airplane(mine is on 747)?
After we know more, maybe UAInsider can inform the company about
this problem.

Another whine: I go to save my statement balances as a PDF, open them and all I get is the Sign in page in the PDF ! Amateurs. Smells of offshored muppetry to me.

I am flying ORD-INC at noon, also flying at 1pm SFO-INC-REP on the same day.
Should be fun.
But my seat assignments remain intact.
Mileage shows 0 but click into "Mileage Plus History" the numbers are correct.

Could the seat assignment issues you are having be relating to not having a frequently flyer number in the record? For whatever reason - I keep seeing eticket receipts that have no frequent flyer number in them. Hopefully that will auto update once they run certain jobs.

I believe I got bumped one flight and one person got bumped by me
on another flight....
