I am than flying BOS-IST on 16 August on a TK A340. What about those seats? Have the A340s been upgraded also? IFE? Lie flats?

Thanks for your replies
3 of the A330-200s have fully-flat J, the others have angled J. Its the luck of the draw. You can check the history of whcih rego plane usually flies the route to get more certainty abou your chances.

Turkish shows equipment as A321 but seat map is 4 rows (A,B,E,F) which doesn't match anything on seatguru.

I am confused. Anyone knows what will actually be flying?
The A321's with the new J seats have 4 rows.

The 3 ex Jet Airways A332s have lie flat seats. What about the recent additions from TAM Airlines saved as 33A in their booking system, are they also recliners?

Hello all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, longtime passive member.Flying CPH-IST-BKK on Nov 30 in J with TK.

Just want to know if anyone knows what hardware they will be using on the flights? My Itiniary just says 330 on both legs.

I assume the CPH-IST is the 332, But I am really hoping the IST-BKK is the 333 with the lie flat seats, especially since it's an all nighter.

TK1784 CPH- IST Departs 2014-11-30 12:30 Arrives 2014-11-30 16:45

TK0064 IST-BKK Departs 2014-11-30 19:50 Arrives 2014-12-01 09:45

Many thanks in advance,

Daniel

If you booked online it should be what is planned. Probably try to check by doing a fake booking up to the point of when you can select seats and see if you can confirm via the seat map that will give you the best indication. It seems that IST-BKK vv is moving to the 343 from early September but that is planned to be phased out once they retire the aircraft.

Old Business i'm afraid 3x3 with middle seat blocked. I know... it sucks... but just focus on earning the miles!

Same here I just found out I've got the 77W op by 9W for September and the 340-300 has been removed once again.

Booked TK720 Nov 13 IST/BOM as UA award. UA web site shows A330; TK web site shows 777-300ER. Who is correct and/or how to find out?

With TK, you never really know what you are flying until you are boarding the plane

LHR-IST-DLM

Have booked flights to DLM via IST from LHR for the annual family holiday - would appreciate any tips on the a/c or transfer - we are booked in J on the 2230 outbound and rtn on the 1430(ish) from IST.

Have read this thread and pick up that LHR gets the old 3x3 J class, except for the a330/777 flights. Any progression towards the newer A320s/A321 on the route - chances of a comfier seat for a sleep through the midnight hours?!?!

Should we stay in the arrivals lounge or head to the domestic terminal lounge at 4am on arrival??!?!

Return trip is through the day so should be more palatable, but any tips welcome.

Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Does anyone knows what happened to comfort class on IST-HKG route? Shows that cabin unavailable for this route (early Jan). Personally have A class flight booked for January....

TK79/TK80 SFO-IST: what aircraft?

I'm looking at flying home from Europe on TK79, from IST to SFO, in June of 2015 (TK79 is the westbound flight, TK80 is the eastbound - surely it's the same aircraft...one with long legs).

According to seatguru (and multiple other sources), this route is (or will be) served by a 777-300ER. But it's not clear which version of the 773: there's a version with first, business, and economy, and another version with business, economy comfort, and economy.

Can anyone tell me which version of the plane is on this route? I'm looking for a good flat bed in business class on this 13+ hour flight...

Thank you!
