MLE is one of the regular A333 destinations as you can see here:

i'm flying on TK1800 from GOT-IST. The scheduled equipment is 738. How do I tell if it is the new 738 with "real" J seats or the old 738 with "Y-J" seats?

IF J is only 4 rows and y finishes at row 27. if you have 28 y rows then it will be the older version.

TK A340 Boston to Istanbul

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this thread but I figured if I was wrong someone would point me in the right direction. I'm planning a trip to South Africa this Spring and I was looking to fly with Turkish Airlines. They use an A340 on the route BOS-IST and I was wondering if there was any way to find out if the aircraft would have the updated cabin or if it would have the older (all teal) cabin. If anyone has flown this route in the recent past or knows any information pertaining to my question I would be grateful for some advice! Thanks in advance to anybody that can help me!

Not sure which planes have which configurations. This route is flown by either an A330 or A340.

I recently flew on an A340 that had older seats but a very meaningful 2-3 more inches of legroom, than the return flight on an A330 with newer seats.

Have a of choice of any the IST-BKK flights. Which is the best in terms of business class seats?

options seem to be:

- TK - 64 Airbus Industrie A330
- tk - 68 9W for Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER
- tk -69 9w for Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER
- tk 65 Airbus Industrie A330

I'm on the TK68 in early September and the flight status says 77W op by jet but the seat map shows 2x2x2 in the A340. Not sure what's going on with that though.

Same here. When I booked the flights it turned out and did the seat selection it turned out to be a 77A on the way out and then an A340-313 on the way back.

Seat map review query (TK1344 EDI-IST)

Good evening

I am flying on TK1344 (EDI-IST) and am struggling to find a seat map review.

On the TK website it is listed as a B738 with 4 rows in J and Y starting at row 5. However Seatguru et al show the B738 aircraft with 5 rows in J (at the moment I have seat 5a and am booked in Y).

The B739 seems to match the seat map; could it be this aircraft instead or are the review websites just out of date?

Thanks for any help.

YUL-IST TK business seat question

Hey, due to a MS schedule change it looks like I have to deal with AE for some new options and am wondering if anyone knows if the new TK service from YUL-IST is on the new 330's with lie flat J seats or the older angle flat birds?

I thought the 333's where 180 and the 332's where ~160 but now looking at seatguru am totally confused; I have flow the 333 from IST-CPT-IST and both legs where the new 180* seats....
