I sure hope this is for real but seems TK has changed IST-BKK-IST TK64/TK65 to A330-300

Ofcourse with TK you never know what you get until you actually board but it seems quite consistent now and expertflyer seat map have also changed from A340-300 to A330-300.

This would mean new business class seats for my trip for mid Feb!

Problem is, they alternate the planes for the two flights per day. Usually one has the old and one the new seats. Even though there are patterns, it is no science but freaking luck what plane/seats it will be in the end.
I am getting tired of that...

It's not a question of routes (because there are a lot of aircrafts swapping) but a question of aircrafts : all the 77Ws and the A330-300s have flat beds

I'm flying JFK-IST in Y and have called a couple of times to reserve seats for me and my travel companion but they keep saying not till check in does this seen right? I have heard try are a pain with this stuff but waiting till check in will be a mess. Somehow they let me book seats on the return flight on a different aircraft but a No for going there.Anything I can do? I don't have priority on any FF programs if that matters.

Hi,

I'm flying TK070 IST-HKG on 2 June in J. It's showing as B777-300ER. But is it the Jet Airways variant or something else? Any help for seat selection would be appreciated.

The HKG route is constantly served with their own 777s. You can see it by trying to make a dummy booking, which will allow you to select Y+

Well, from hardware point of view, things went pretty well.

From ARN-IST I got the new A321 with proper business seats (4 rows of 2 by 2) although I think they did not recline quite as much as the same/similar seating in their Boeing...

For IST-BKK it was A330-300 with new flat J (TK64) which was totally full. Our gate exit was actually delayed while they checked two passengers for the tickets since they were seated where Captain? had planned to rest (maybe last minute upgrades). At the end this Captain? picked his gear off from there and passenger was allowed to stay there.

Since it was full J class, food service took ages and I asked main course to be given separately as I wanted to go to sleep.

I'm flying KTM-IST on March 17th.

Listed as 330 -- hoping for a 333 but expecting a 332. Any ideas?

LHR-IST A321s

Curious if anyone has experience on the A321s serving LHR - is the business class new recliner seats or the older standard seats with blocked middle?

Prices were similar between BA and TK so I think I will opt for TK because odds are soft and hard product are a bit better than a BA A320 in Club Europe.

Depends on which flight you are willing to take.
I definately recommend the 777s, but if not you should state which flight you inted to take.

TK1988 and TK1987...I would love the 777 but it increases the flight prices by almost double on my dates.

Yep, true. The 777s J class is priced higher.

The early morning flight seams to get the new continental J class on most flights. However, still some days were operated by the regular old "J" class seat aircraft.

What is the date you are willing to travel?
