You don't need to link the I-94. It's all done automatically.

All back ground check should have done in full when you are conditionally approved. When you go in for your interview, it is mostly a formality.

Question about appointments now.

I'm used to doing interviews at YYZ, and used to the wait there. Unusually, may not be there first, but may be in Seattle in Sept and my wife is waiting to interview. Seems the Seattle office is booking interviews in December right now. Seems like a loooong wait....is this normal for Seattle? I'm also used to getting interviews earlier than originally scheduled by checking for cancellations...is this common with Seattle, as well? I know we could drive up to Blaine/YVR, and get an appointment earlier, but probably won't have time.

Also, are offices now open on holidays? I've seen appointments available on Labor Day in various places, and I'm pretty sure when I did my interview in May, there was a spot that opened on Memorial Day. My recollection is that Nexus offices were closed on both Canadian and US holidays...are they now having them work on holidays...particularly surprising with CBP.

Checking daily diligently, especially when your desired NEXUS location is open, is your best bet. Good luck. Please come back and let us know your result.

What's the easiest way to update home address and employer?

What if I haven't done it within 3 months? Specifically the employer?

Just update your profile in GOES. Fields you can update online, do so. Any fields you cannot update, just wait for your next renewal and update then.

What would be the best and nearest place for someone who lives in Chicago to schedule a Nexus interview in a nearby (short drive) place other than YYZ or the bridge between Detroit and Windsor?

Shortest drive is Detroit. Or Port Huron. Full list

I wouldn't call it a short drive, but when I stopped by there once for a document update, the agents at Sault Ste Marie were friendly and helpful, and this is the perfect time of year for a drive to the Upper Peninsula.

It doesn't let me update anything but "Update Mail-To Address". Is that normal?

Yes. Update the fields that GOES allows you to update, and then at the next renewal, update everything else that has changed. This does assume that nothing has changed to affect your eligibility - if something significant has changed that affects Nexus qualifications, you do need to contact a Nexus office.

Yes - you can update passport information or mail-to address. You can't update anything else online.

For that stuff, you need to update in person.

You can also update driver's license info online. (I know that's not what they were asking about.)

Can you do that? Same last name? Family member with same address or different address?

One FTer complained to Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase credited him his $50 NEXUS fee.
