Nope, it is usually a second office and you don't get your Nexus card right away, take a week or two before you receive it. So you won't be able to use your Nexus card for Vegas |

Your best bet in Vancouver is to exit as if you are a domestic traveler into YVR, then go to the U.S. departure check-in area. The NEXUS office is on the opposite side where the United Airlines check-in counters are. |

I wish they all did take place in T1 however all my flights are arriving and departing T3. All skyteam flights.

The NEXUS office, as all the other ones, are outside of the "security" area.

Do note the Nexus office is perpetually behind in their interviews. Honestly, I think it's a tactic with the US Customs interviewers, but whatever the cause, be prepared!
I think mine was delayed for at least 45 min. |

I am not sure about baggage pickup, custom and drop-off for transiting passenger onward to US/EU for YYZ is one of my home airports. I haverseen baggage service at the baggage area before clearing customs so you may be able to forward your bags without going through Canada customs. |

At YYZ T3 you can enter Canada and then pre-clear US entry with Nexus.

(Assuming your bags were checked all the way through and you have boarding passes..otherwise you need to schlep your bags upstairs and check-in with the appropriate airline). |

I think mine was delayed for at least 45 min. Perhaps it has something to do with sharing an office with the Canadian officers but the US interviewer was remarkably quick, polite and soft-spoken. What a difference from my first NEXUS interview back when you had to go to the little US Immigration office behind the UA counters and suffer a lot of "mouth" from everyone from the security guard to the interviewers. By the time I got home, I had a e-mail confirmation from GOES that all was acceptable and my new card would be in the mail. Painless, except for the wait. CB |
New Enrolment Centre at Whirlpool Bridge in NF NY
I went to the Whirlpool Bridge today and noticed that there was a sign indicating that the building next to the NEXUS toll kiosk is now an Enrolment Centre. I had been using the one in Fort Erie for updating information and getting declaration books (which you must use entering Canada). So here are the official details.
Niagara Falls, NY (Whirlpool Bridge) 2250 Whirlpool Street Niagara Falls, NY 14203 Tuesday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM (716) 282-4663 |
