The EoA page does indeed list YVR as an EoA location (which is not quite the same as an EC, as far as I know) open during those hours. I don’t see any reason you wouldn’t be able to do it there, the EoA page doesn’t make any mention of nationality being something that makes a difference to the ability to EoA, and each one of you is going to be processed individually anyway. In terms of wait time I can’t say for sure as I’m not familiar with the location, but the process itself is a matter of a couple minutes. If it’s a busy time for the airport (perhaps look up the departure list and see how many US-bound flights there are around the same time) there may be a wait, but I’d guess you probably just want to get there before the bulk of the passengers on your flight and it’ll probably be fine.

We all were approved and I'm waiting for the GE cards to come in. My understanding is that we don't need the actual plastic card and can just use the Passid to travel and use TSA Precheck. Is there a separate thread that discusses the logistics of using GE and benefits associated with it?

Recent data point for JFK T8.
Asked to do my EOA interview at immigration. The CBP officer told me to go to line 1 after baggage claim. At baggage claim there was a tensabarrier funnel that takes you to the exit through the customs area. The line numbers are written on the ceiling and line 1 (parallel to the funnel to the exit) was tensabarried off. You can see a desk under the line 1 sign (with an officer present in my case). I asked a member of staff to let me in and I was the only person there. The officer took my details and completed the interview process very quickly and efficiently. I received an e-mail confiming the status change (i.e. approval) just under an hour later whilst still in the taxi into Manhattan. From disembarking the plane to getting into a taxi (including EOA interview) was just over 20 mins. |

Has anybody any recent experience for GE EoA at JFK T1? As I will be travelling with my wife and my child and all of us would like to do EoA, I hope that there is no massive additional waiting time in addition to the normal waiting times for immigration.

Hi there, I am a UK citizen flying LHR-DUB then DUB-LHR-JFK and wondered if I'd be able to use my time at Dublin to complete my enrolment. I'm conditionally approved.
Thanks for any advice! |

This isn't possible. You would have be on a US bound flight using the preclearance area to which you wouldn't have access flying DUB-LHR.

Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival for NON-US Citizens?
Does anyone know what is the procedure for GE enrollment on arrival for non-US citizens and non-GC holders? The situation is there is conditional approval. Landing in SEA if that helps.

The setup at SEA is a bit different than other ports. There is actually a dedicated office for EOA at the mezzanine level (see attached) before you pick up your bags and go through immigration/customs. So you actually don’t have to worry about which line to use. Do your EOA interview first and let the officer tell you where to go. If you’re approved, you should be able to use GE right away.

I think it will matter. This is EOA for people who are not US citizens and not GC holders. I remember GE line is with US citizens and GC holders? Or has that changed?
The potential advantage in your case is being able to use GE after completing EOA since that happens before passport control at SEA. It might take some time for the final approval e-mail to generate, however. |
I read that some people are being turned away for EOA because they did not schedule an interview. If I manage to schedule an interview, do I need to leave the country, or can I go to the airport and do the interview there?
EDIT: Ok I found a GE interview location inside the US and it's not an airport, so I assume scheduled appoint for GE interviews does not require one to leave the country? |

GE EoA on holidays?

We still have a few months before our next international trip but curious if anyone know if enrollment on arrival is typically available on holidays? We will be returning from Europe on January 1, 2023 (arriving in Chicago) and thinking worst case we take care of it then.
