List of Global Entry Enrollment Centers

Post your walk-in experiences in the Wiki. If you cannot update the Wiki, then please post in the thread, and someone will paste your data point. Please format it as such under the enrollment center where you attempted to walk-in:

Yes/No [If Yes, put how long you waited in brackets] (Date and time attempted)

If someone in your family had an appointment at that time, please note that, too.

Examples:
Yes [45m] (4/2/2016 10am w/ a family member who had an appointment)

No (5/2/2016 12pm w/ a family member who had an appointment)
Yes [25m] (5/10/2016 9am)

Consider that there are appointments immediately after yours and those people expect to be seen as well. Where do you think the time to interview a second person without an appointment is supposed to come from? It's rude to everyone else waiting.

Only interview time is at my due date!

I'm trying to schedule an interview at MSY (New Orleans). Everything is blacked out until Nov. 9, which is almost to the 180 day mark (that I've heard you have to interview by). It also is coincidentally the day before my due date! I don't really travel for work or anything to tack on something somewhere else, and the next nearest location is a 6 hr. drive away! Does anyone know if MSY takes walk-ins or if cancellations have appeared on their calendar? I find it hard to believe that every single appt. is booked up almost 6 months out.

and exactly how many minutes of interview do you think would be needed for a 11 year old ?

AUS update: I walked in last Wed. There was only only guy working but I got there just after another man 15 minutes before the 8am opening. For whatever reason the appointments were only taking about 10 minutes and were 15 minutes apart, so by 10am both of us had worked in between the appointments. Basically as long as the worker had spare time and the next appointment hadn't shown up, he worked us in. He was very efficient and friendly and I was very polite and appreciative of his time. A handful of people came in who were just asking questions and those of us waiting answered them all
My wife then went in Monday and there was a different person working who also seemed to have other duties and the appointments were taking 20 minutes. By 10am with a full waiting room she gave up.
What we did learn is that they've brought in more staff starting next week so not only are appointments easier to get, I imagine they'll be able to take some walkins.
I suggest reloading frequently on the rescheduling page to see if you can get an appt. My wife got one for Monday evening so we should be good to go for our memorial day travel
It does take a good 7 to 10 minutes to get through the process even if there are absolutely no issues, so don't expect to squeeze in on a walkin without spending over an hour for a gap, unless you get lucky and there's a cancellation but then you could have probably snagged that appointment if you're vigilant.

Hi All,

I am trying my best to get an appointment at either Vegas / Orlando or JFK between 29th May and 3rd June and I am hoping for someone experience on weather any of the above locattions allow walk ins / have allowed Walkins / What the criteria was?

I am really struggling for a date as the appointment availability is pretty poor. I have a fail safe appointment in Miami but its in the middle of a 1 hour flight connection so well maybe not as fail safe as it could be!

I've been informed that DEN does not accept walk-in appointments. Is that true?

Our experience with walk-in GOES appointment:

Granted, this is Boise, Idaho--so basically in the middle of nowhere, but…………

Their hours are M and W 12-4 only. We arrived about 11:50 last Monday, were warmly welcomed and told we would be seen soon. Waited about 20 minutes, and the nice gentleman took both my husband and myself back for a joint interview. Asked for our ID (Idaho DL), our passports and our GOES conditional approval letter/number. We were not asked any questions (some interview!), but then we are a senior couple from Spudville--not likely in any risk category! Fingerprints were quick and easy, and we were out of there in about 10 minutes! We both received email approvals within the hour. Now waiting for our GOES card to arrive in the mail, but we do know that it's not necessary to use it.

Although Boise is a bit out of the way, if one was desperate/anxious or on a tight schedule, it might be worth a drive or flight! The office is not too far from the airport.

The good news: I found a place that does walk ins
The bad news: only Sat & Sun mornings in Doha at the airport

But if your in the region it's worth it. Did my interview for my renewal @ 10:30am and had my approval letter 15 min later

Does anyone know if BWI, DCA or IAD take walk ins? What times will be best for walk in if available?

I don't know but I have an appt this weekend at Dulles. I can find out if you wish. Usually walk-ins are FCFS, so you need to get there early.

That would be good to know. I'll be in the area, not my usual city but if they take walk-ins I can pop in the morning. Just got conditionally approved today.

While not a personal experience per se...

Had my appointment at LAS (McCarran in Las Vegas) today. There were 2 people in the waiting area hoping for walk-ins. During my interview, I asked the agent if it was likely they'd be seen, and was told it was almost certainly a NO. FWIW, this was around 1:30PM and the LAS center's posted hours mention closing at 2PM.

The whole system was down on Sat and part of Sun I was told (my interview for renewal was booked for last Sat morning, 10AM Doha time, there were a few other Americans there who had just flown in for their appt from places like Saudi, Dubai, Bahrain. We were told it was out "nationwide". He meant the US, not Qatar obviously. Luckily I was in Doha for 3 days so rescheduled with the interviewer for Mon (they don't do interviews on Mondays but real nice guy, not an ICE agent, he was a US Embassy employee........but I really felt for the others who flew in just for the interview, wasting a lot of time and money for nothing
