I flew TUS-PHX on an HP CRJ-900 in 2006. Amusingly, I'd driven down from Phoenix the night before (a rare time when flying from Tucson was cheaper than Phoenix) so I retraced my route back.

I've taken this route a handful of times as a kid. I remember 737s on it.

CPH-FOE and TOS-LYR are quite exotic, but typically fully booked. My almost-empty flights were WAW-BZG, LCY-DND, VIE-KIV, and TIA-MXP.

I flew this as a turnaround on a UA 72S, Nov 1983 (one of my first mileage/segment runs: SEA-DEN-PHX-TUS/TUS-PHX-SFO/SFO-LAX-LAS // LAS-LAX-SFO-SEA)

United kept it as a tag-on flight into the mid-2000's. I was always amused seeing "Tucson" on the departure boards at PHX Terminal 2. The flight went IAD-PHX-TUS but you could book just PHX-TUS if you wanted. UA eventually dropped it and ran a nonstop IAD-TUS but then they dropped that too

HIB (Chisholm-Hibbing, MN) to INL (International Falls, MN). Or JNB (Johannesburg, SA) to MSU (Maseru, Lesotho). Anyone? Of course not!
