If you like 'flying' that much, why not get your pilot license. Then you'll still be home to spend time with your significant other, kids, parents, etc.

Who are you to prevent someone else's happiness? If you like spending time with friends and family, go ahead. If someone likes to fly around and create personal goals, go ahead. If someone wants to bungee jump off a bridge or skydive, let them. People have their own ways to create happiness and meaning, one size doesn't fit all.

I added four to my roster in 2015 for a total of 61/100. I took a vacation in Puerto Rico, adding #43 SJU. On that trip I also added #29 TPA and #36 MCI via connections. I didn't go out of my way to choose those connections; they happened to be at the times that fit my schedule best. The fact that they added extra airports to my history was simply a bonus.

Finally, I took a short vacation via #76 TUL (yes, really).

In 2016 I think I'll add a few more. I'll probably find myself transiting DAL at some point now that the Wright Amendment is history and WN is scaling up there. And I'll probably add another Hawaiian airport for a vacation late in the year.

I don't have any goals. Dare I say this pun... I just fly by the seat of my pants!

I just go on holidays at the spur of the moment when I am tired and sick of work. I just book wherever I feel like going at that moment. It differs weekly I think.

Since last year, I've checked off some unofficial flying goals (reaching one million miles; helicopter; being the sole passenger on a flight), so I'll just add hot air balloon and zeppelin to the list.

Will be reaching 1.5 million miles on 100 airlines (not incl regionals) this summer.

At current patterns, will reach 2mm and 1000 flights well before age 40.

Still zero flights for any work-related purposes.
