52 ONT Ontario LA International Airport 8
Shouldn't this be ONT Ontario CA?

I am 57 of the top 57 and 88 of the 100. Maybe have to do a MR to get the others.

I am sure people who fly for work get to a million very fast, and it wouldnt be unusual for them to reach a million by my age.

It will probably take me a decade to get the 2nd million :P New goal :O
I bet you visit lots more new countries in your 2nd million miles.

I have 38; a lot of the west and midwest aren't part of my normal travel patterns. I have ANC booked for a MR later this year. Otherwise I don't know if I want to try to do this.

......or

I might get tempted.

Also, if anyone is truly masochistic, the FAA has a link to a pdf/excel of all ~512 airports in the US with commercial service.

http://www.faa.gov/airports/planning...ats/passenger/

Just throwing it out there.

Travel goal c/o stream of consciousness: what's the longest sentence - using airport codes - in any language you can fly in one itinerary? If that's too cumbersome, how about the longest word?

In view of this since it is verifiable from the FAA and I can no longer find the Wikipedia page that prompted my original post and my quest, I am modifying and starting again. So the next post will have this FAA extracted into a document and posted into a form I can modify easily.

I suppose it is obvious really - MKE no longer as busy. When figures for MEM are next done they will be way down and of course AZA makes it because of all the Allegiant flights. CAK makes it into the top 100 and logically SJU is included which makes sense as GUM was in the original list.

It almost certainly will change again when the 2013 list is released.
