OK I set goals. It makes flying even more pleasurable. I did a Google search for Top 100 US airports and Wikipedia came up with List of TOP 100 USA airports by passengers boarded (Wiki Nov 2011)

So I have 35 airports to travel in or out of. I will document over the coming months.

I'm a bit shocked that I'm also at 65 of the 100, but with no intent of trying to hit them all. I was worried when I was perfect through the top 40.

I'm 94 out of 100. I've always wanted to visit DAL if only for the Braniff heritage there. I don't see Guam in my future anytime soon though.

Fun goal indeed, I may have to steal it! I'm at 68 out of 100 with an impressive 49 of the Top 50.

49 of the 100. I'll have to look harder at the list.

And I'm counting SAT as I got rerouted there once during a storm on the way to DFW (but never got off the plane).

I only have 22. But I am doing better internationally with 43 out of the top 100 worldwide.

Any of you want the list in word document format let me know and I will e-mail it to you.

I'm trying to visit all the airports (with scheduled service) in the UK and Ireland and I'm also trying to visit every country.

Started preliminary research. It seems there is no doubt that the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to do this is to fly a lot of Southwest metal.

I've flown via 53 of these 100. Of the top 25, though, my only "miss" is #25.

I'll be surprised if my tally grows past 60 anytime in the next several years. Most of the airports I'm missing are outside of my travel needs-- I have no business there, no family there, or no desire to vacation there; or the airport is within 100 miles of a much larger airport with much better routings so I'll generally fly there & drive.
