Actually, this can be done with 3 flights on certain days. This example is for 9 Oct 10:
DE 6649 from TFN to FRA
QF 6 from FRA to SYD (arriving 2 days later)
QF 1463 from SYD to CBR
QF 6 has a stop in SIN, however the GDS still considers it one flight so it works.

Although considering that was what was returned by the GDS for the TFN->CBR search, that in itself tells us more about what it can and can't do.

I have been an EF subscriber for 4 years and I know I am only using a tiny bit of its capabilities.
Can I use EF to search for flights along with prices? I now use mostly Kayak and then fine tune on the airlines websites

That being said, one future option could be allowing users to pick a set of specific flights & fare classes and then fully pricing that itinerary, taxes, fees and all.

Perhaps ExpertFlyer can call the center and get the downlow on looking at these classes? 1-877-835-9538 = Jet USA

Need some ExpertFlyer help
I've been a premium subscriber for several years now, but for the past few years have primarily used ExpertFlyer to find Delta upgrade availability for my chosen route - and it's worked well, thanks!
I just discovered that my preferred route for my 2-3 times annual flight to my second home has been canceled for the winter (CPH-MCO via ATL on DL), so I turned to ExpertFlyer to find the best routing options for alternate routes. I'm familiar with most of the options, but wanted to use EF as a simple, consolidated place to view all the times/layovers/dates, etc. before turning to the respective airline sites to find best fares, upgrade opportunities, etc.
I'm really disappointed in the results, and wonder if I'm somehow querying incorrectly (have checked the latest user guide).
I assumed that EF would give me all available routings for my city pairs, if not placing restrictions/filters on the search. But I'm only getting a handful of the available flights. For example, it's returning options from BD with a VS codeshare, UA as a CO codeshare, and CO; but it is not returning SK on the outbound, DL via JFK, LH via FRA, and many other options that I know are available. I also do not see an option to "get more results" as mentioned in the user guide.
So I decided to narrow my queries by selecting the various connecting airports and/or alliances. First I tried just showing connections via EWR, with a +/- 1 day on dates, and again it didn't even show SK on the outbound, despite that I know they have flights those days via EWR.
Next I tried a query for +/- 1 day for all Star Alliance flights, with no restriction for connecting airport. EF is only showing flights from CPH-MCO on BD (codeshare BD & VS via MAN), UA (codeshare CO via EWR) and CO (via EWR), with return flights MCO-CPH on SK via IAD, UA (codeshare SK & CO), and CO.
Yet I know for a fact that there are many more Star options with SK in both directions via EWR, IAD and ORD; and also options with LH via FRA, and AC via YYZ.
Is it not the intention of EF to show me all available options for city pairs using the Flight Availability search, so that I can then see the routings, airlines or alliances I prefer?
I'm afraid I might be missing a routing option that I'm not aware of, which is one of the main features of the tool for me. So some search tips to return all possible routings for my city pairs would be most appreciated.

Hi Susan, Generally speaking, you'll never get every possible route returned with a search as, especially when you're talking about all airlines in an alliance, there are just too many possibilities and the reservation system only returns so many flights in a search (and we show all that are returned). You can narrow down the possibilities by specifying a connecting city or clicking the "Don't Show Interline Connections" option. Or specifying a few airlines instead of an entire alliance if you know you want to see a specific airlines flights. Also adjusting the time of day of the departure or return date will help to narrow down a large list of options.
It would be helpful if we knew the specific searches with dates that you were looking at and the specific flights you think you should be seeing. Please send an email to [email protected] so we can give you one-on-one help with your search.

I've been a premium subscriber for some years but $10/month is too steep for this service and I stopped my subscription a few months ago. EF can of course set any price they like but I just want you to know that I like the service but it's simply too expensive for casual travellers.
Have you considered a new product, combining the basic/premium? I would like the features of the premium product but with maybe 100 queries/month limit.
