It is working as of now.

I almost always keep an instance of KVS running on my desktop, without closing it. So when the authentication website doesn't work, I can still use it.

Indeed, any users who already had the KVS Tool running would not have been affected by this.

After using KVS for a while and running into problems with registration not working, issues when making minor changes, the pain of using it on multiple systems etc i would love to see a (full featured) cloud based solution with some state of the art authentication.
With all the tablets and other devices out there a windows based application does not cut it any more.

I'm trying to check VA award availability using Awards/DL-SkyTeam but I'm getting a "Session Error -- Please Enable MSIE Cookies." This doesn't make any sense because I'm using a Mac & Safari (have External Browser set to C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program\Safari). In any case, MSIE First-Party Cookies are enabled.

Are you using CrossOver for Mac?

I am planning a trip PVG-DAD for 3 people with DL miles. Using KVS Tool Sky Team award search and found YS3 round trip awards on VN. But when calling DL, I was told it would cost 45,000 miles per person. Is that what YS award costs?

Error on KVS Availability for Awards Delta/Skyteam
 

I am noticing some kind of error when using the Awards/DL-Skyteam Method, and the Airlines Quick option.

For example, KVS shows availability for flights IAH-AMS-MAD on 6/3/13 on KLM. I tried booking this in Delta.com 'by schedule', and I receive an error. I have contacted Delta and talked to two different agents, both of which confirm there is no such availability in the Delta system.

Any feedback as to why this search option reports availability that is not actually there? Am I doing something wrong?

At the moment, AF-KL is reporting no Award Availability on KL to AMS:

If there is no availability on AF/KL system, why the search option in DL for KVS shows availability on KL?

Another example, June 4th:

Using Method Awards/DL-Skyteam (Quick option), shows availability on KL IAH-AMS on CS+. However, using Method Awards/Skyteam, same flight shows only availability on CM+ (not CS).

Delta.com does not show any availability, even though KVS is showing availability. Why is that?

It should actually be CS and not CM -- a KVS Tool update will be released shortly:

DL.com will display this flight if you search Awards by Schedule.

But DL does not permit one way awards, so 45000 is the correct price for a round trip or a one way. Of course, it would be in your best interests to book the former, or an open jaw.

Phantom KLM availability through Delta..

Delta.com shows this flight in search by schedule but then gives you an error. Called Delta and they mention there is no such availability. So my point is that KVS is showing a flight available that is actually not bookable.

Is this Phantom KLM availability through Delta a new occurrence? Is this KLM or Delta's fault, and how do you get around this?

It is not "phantom", as AF-KL confirms positive Award Availability on that flight. However, KL may be blocking the redemption.

That question would be best directed to DL (who are showing that flight as having positive Award Availability), and/or KL (who may be blocking the redemption).

I have a question looking at CX availability. On KVS it shows a flight as F1. When go to a website such as kayak or Cathay's own website and attempt to book a 1 way on the exact same flight I see as F1 on KVS for 2 seats, it will allow me to do so. Kayak.com even says that there are 5 seats left!

Any idea what is going on?

Basically No..... I tried a lot to get mine ticketed. Some have reported that they were able to get DL agents to manually book it for them. I tried that with a number of agents but didn't get anywhere.

There is no pattern or logic to how/why KLM gives award seats to DL. Some flights you can book and some you can't. But yes KVS is right, the seats show up and DL agents can see them but when they go to book the seats come as blocked.

What's the Flight #/Date?

Help - KVS has gone haywire
 

I run KVS under Crossover on an iMac.

All of a sudden - every time I started KVS it went into some sort of a loop without me doing anything (i.e. entering a search request) - it displayed the searching info at the bottom of the screen - then after about 5 minutes gave some sort of error (message box changed each time). After various "force quit" attempts I re-booted and everything seemed OK - but on entering a new search - it just hangs showing the Mac "hourglass" - I can't stop or quit the app - I presume I can Force Quit Crossover.

How do I get things back on track?

Did you make any recent changes to CrossOver or your Mac?

I made no changes whatsoever - it just started looping from one query to the next. After many process kills and re-boots - KVS just seem to keep searching (info line on the bottom shows result count in the 1000's) then gets a timeout error.

I am at the stage of trying to un-install and re-install to see if that helps. I can send a screenshot but I don't think that will provide any additional information - all types of searches fail after "looping" for 5+ minutes. (Note KVS is still working fine on my iMac - it's my MacBook that is failing.)

UPDATE - I un-installed KVS using the KVS un-install utility and then removed the "bottle" from Crossover then re-installed KVS - it is now working fine.

I am running a search for *A availability on UA from NYC to ORD for Sun July 14 using the Awards/Star Alliance option with the default setting of JP-ANA +3D.

The latest flight in the list that comes up is for a 17:05 departure. I can see though from a timetable search that there are a couple more UA flights later than this. Am I doing something wrong - or are these later flights somehow "hidden" for award availability through the ANA system?

They are not "hidden", but there are just too many of them.

You would need to use the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] / [Awards-Upgrades/UA] Methods to see the remaining flights:
