I have found KE award availability as part of a multi-segment flight, but I can not find any award availability for any class from any US airport on many random dates during the next 3-6 months. What gives?

You may wish to post your question in the FB forum, as this appears to be a system connectivity issue between AF/KL and KE.

Yes and you do not need to sign-up for any FFPs to use the other 2 SkyTeam Award search Methods in the KVS Tool.

When I use the Mobile Companion, I am now seeing a query lomit, for example, 310/400 queries. Never seen this before, is there really a limit on MC?

That has always been there (perhaps not visibly displayed, not sure) and it limits number of searches that you can do on probably the only thing that KVS owns legally. But I would doubt is allowed to "resell" in this way, and the limit is imposed to protect them from exceeding their own limit...

Does that mean that vbroucek's answer to indo79's question is incorrect?

I can't see any fare basis info when I search for fares. Is there a current issue preventing this ?

The current [Fares] Engine does not provide Fare Basis info.

Please contact us via the official support channels (website or e-mail) for further information on how to use the Fare-related functions in the KVS Tool.

Be careful when making payment! KVS is not able to search member-exclusive award flights,... and it refuses to refund even if you find it does not satisfy your need right after the purchase(it sucks!).

Hi,

Since June 1st AF/KL has moved from inventory scheme to dynamic pricing for awards (except for First class on AF) until the last available seat.

The O, A and X award classes (to make things simple, AF/KL also use O, A and X for revenue...) respectively labelled as CS, WS and YS with KVS are very useful to know availability on AF/KL flights for Skyteam FFP.

What about variable awards for Flying Blue members?
How is KVS handling the new FB scheme?
Is it possible to use KVS to know in which band the award availability exists?

Thanks

KVS Tool has already been updated to support all types of FB Awards, including Standard, Variable and Partner.

Please consult the AF/KL sections of the KVS Tool User Guide for details.

Thanks for the reply.

I guess you refer to this?

https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...482dbc974e.png

So you mean that KVS allows to know the variable price in miles for awards on AF/KL?

Be aware that while the tool may have this functionality now it could go away at any point in time -- and without any notice. :eek:ther data sources have disappeared after the data owners discovered KVS's unauthorized use and blocked it. This has happened numerous times before.
