Why availability doesn't show aircraft type anymore? That's a setback.

And there is your answer...

We have identified and resolved an issue with the [Awards/SQ] Engine and an updated version is available for download.

As always, please contact us directly for technical assistance with the KVS Tool.

Data source error [R]

What does this error message mean?

Data Source Error [R]
Flight Search Result | International

Error occurs when using NH search method.

Also, NH result can show something, especially with OZ that AC method does not display. Is that normal?

Thank you.

This issue has now been resolved -- please download KVS Tool V8.5.3 and try again.

As noted in the *A section of the KVS Tool User Guide, the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Method is more authoritative for *A Partner Award Availability.

Thks. Will download the latest.

My experience was the opposite. NH gave better availability. We just came back from an RTW in Business class booked through ANA. The first segment - SEA-FRA, did not appear with AC method, but NH method found it.

Hi guys,

I am getting the following error when using KVS this morning: Web page blocked

Is anyone having the same problem? Also, any idea of what it is? It doesn't seem to have an answer in the Q/A section of KVS

It means that another site realised that KVS is using it illegaly for scraping and made sure that KVS cannot do it anymore... Welcome to obscure practices of money sucking business called KVS...

Ohhh ... I see!

In this particular case, I was trying to do some search on British Airways website.

KVS and QRs 1x & 2x QMiles redemption seat pricing.

Anyone know if you can use KVS to search for QR award availability which is priced at 1x QMiles rather than the far more common 2x QMiles availability ?
being able to differentiate would be great.
There's always (well, mostly) lots of availability if you're willing to pay double the QMiles but standard pricing (1x) is far harder to find.

Standard QR Award Availability in the KVS Tool always corresponds to the QR PC x1 pricing.

I appreciate it'll be easier on the pc tool, however, using the kvs mobile tool is it Z (first) U (biz) & X (econ) I'd be looking for for award availability (on QR) ?
Or is award space not identifiable on the mobile tool ?
Cheers.

The Mobile Companion supports only Regular Availability.
