Yes, of course.

As always, please consult the official KVS Tool Homepage for the most up-to-date information.

I am trying to search for SQ award space for Suites on the Jfk-Fra route using the power search feature, however it keeps bringing me back results for standard award space when I am looking for saver award space, I must be missing a setting or something somewhere?

No, you are not missing anything. You paid for dubious (at least) piece of software and that's what you get for your money...

The SQ KF interface is sufficient for the search?

Welcome to the KVS Tool!

Please ensure that your [Filter] is set to reflect the desired Award Type(s) before starting the [Power Search].

It is however its faster to do the search 30 days at a time without having to check it day by day

I see what you mean however I can't seem to find the fare class for Sq suites to put into the filter so it gives me saver award space instead of standard.

I think I might have figured it out, it looks like under the filters tab where it says " availability required in classes" and " display only classes " both need to be checked and fare class should be
set to FS on both of them correct?

Indeed.

You only need to set the [Availability Required In Class(es)] Filter to FS.

If using the [Awards/SQ] Method, you should also set the [Cabin(s)] option to First only in order to speed-up the Power Search.

Problems with recent VirtualBox releases

I am not sure if others use Virtual Box, but the most recent versions seem to have bugs that may affect VMs used to run KVS. More specifically, I found that 5.1.8 and 5.0.28 both cause problems with Windows XP SP3 (e.g., network timeouts); for other versions of Windows, YMMV.

If this happens to you, you might want to downgrade back to 5.0.26, which seems to work fine for XP SP3 (and possibly others).

Thanks for all your assistance!

i'm having an issue with understanding the KVS tool. under the membership types, features summary view, it lists "upgrade availability search" for UA. ok, how is that possible? i thought UA blocked R display by other websites/tools? the examples say that codes for upgrades are O/FS and I/CS, which are the codes for awards, not upgrades. are these being used as surrogates? how is this possible?

Those refer to *A Upgrades (not R Class Upgrades).

then don't list UA on the upgrade availability page. 99.99% of people interested in UA upgrades are looking for R, not A Upgrades...

Spot on -- Clearly KVS can't find a way to perform an unauthorized scrape of the R data. S;), it is not available. But why let that get in the way of advertising that it is possible to find UA upgrade space if one can find it for some obscure purpose. A negative answer might cut down on the amount of cash coming in. Shady answers from a shady business. Just SOP. Save your money, folks.
