EF alerts
I have an alert set for i class availability on a BA flight. It has now pinged me twice to say that the availability came up. The flight is pretty distant in the future and wide open in all classes (except I). Each time I then run the search in EF it shows iO.
Is this a glitch in the matrix? I can’t believe they disappear so fast given the flight date and availability. |

Are you searching using the same Point of Sale (POS) as the alert?

Looks like you did a "Flight Availability" search, not a "Flight Timetables" search
(you cannot specify connecting cities in a timetable search) |

Travel Info - Visa, Health &m Passport - No Results returned
A new problem?
I've tried searching for the visa requirements for a couple of nationalities and a couple of destination countries (Australian and Irish nationalities, and destinations of Vietman and Uganda) And I'm always getting the same response - "There were no results for you search" Hopefully this will be a transient problem... |

I would not discount the possibility that someone else grabbed the award, especially if it is a popular route. I used another alert service to check for some Asiana awards and I saw a similar pattern. I would get an alert, by the time I got to checking it there were no awards. Then, one day, I was sitting at my PC when the alert came in. I immediately went to verify it on a couple of sites and found that it was real, not phantom, but before I could book, literally about 3 minutes from when I got the alert, someone else had grabbed it and it was gone, and this was for a date a few months out.

I’d love to give EF some of my money but their website isn’t allowing me to get in… 403 Forbidden error. Multiple devices checked, different networks and cleared caches. I responded to their customer service email and it’s been almost a complete day with crickets.
Are there affordable alternatives that are more responsive? |

Are there affordable alternatives that are more responsive? The ONLY reason to get it is for AA C class (upgrade) availability. For any other feature I would honestly go elsewhere |

Note that a Flight Schedule Alert is not triggered when a flight is removed from the schedule. The workaround, which I'm fairly certain I learned here, is to also set an alert for the case that fewer than one seat being offered for sale in full Y. If that alert is triggered, take a look because it's highly likely that the flight has been, or soon will be, cancelled. |

Seat Alerts I would use aerolopa, which recently added the functionality
