The only bad thing about it, just a bit annoying if the battery gets very close to dead it emits a horrible sound. Oh well it happens extremely rarely so no biggie.

Not sure, but he stated that I could do the exchange for $99 + tax @ 8.25%= $107.17.

There are two different prices for upgrading from QC2's to QC15's. The prices are based upon the type of QC2 being traded in. The "Older" QC2's require a $99 charge to upgrade while "newer" QC2's require an $89 charge. The additional $8 or so dollars would more than likely be attributed to tax.

He said, “well you can buy replacements, but for another $50+ you can get the QC15’s.” Before he finished his sentence, he had three new boxes of the 15’s at the register. The trade up cost was $89 for each pair. The offer still seems to be good for those still wondering.
The above might answer my question, but has anyone traded-up multiple times, on separate occassions? In other words, does their POS (Point of Sale) system or policies prohibit the same person from upgrading more than once?

Like many others, had no problem exchanging my beat up QC2's for a brand new pair of QC15's with microphone and remote cable. $99 plus tax.

Mine were taped up and they didn't even seem to look twice.

Thanks to all those that shared the good info.

Has anyone else encountered a part loose in the earphones on QC15?

I think the left headphone is rattling.

Does anyone know if the trade-up program still alive now? I have been using a QC2 for years but just tried a QC15 loaned from a family friend. Just returned from the trip with Qc15. I want to upgrade my QC2 to QC15.

Thanks.

How to tell it is an older one or newer one?
