I read the news about this route in the article for cabinet approved a proposal by TG to acquired 15 aircrafts which are planned for 2010 to 2014 and not mentioned about 77W.

I find this a very busy flight schedule for just 3 aircraft. 10 flights to Paris and 7 flights to Tokyo --- and don't forget they need to (should, at least) take the planes out of service for almost one day for maintenance checks every week...

I think the TG aircraft lottery will be especially active on the 77W routes !

This is great news! I was booked on a 744 BKK-NRT which could very easily get the equipment swap. Now I have a new 77W to look forward to!

Of course. However the introduction of more aircraft with modern seats can only help the chances even if a swap takes place.

Nice surprise.

I just called TG now to book seats for CDG-BKK-CDG for a few flights coming up.

Very surprised to be told "there's no upper deck" when trying to ask for the lower.

So - fantastic - 9A on all flights. I hope this pans out, although the C class 747 was never really a problem, except for the crummy upper deck.

I'm on TG640 BKK-NRT on Feb 17th in F. What are the odds of two successful stand-bys onto TG676? If it matters, this is a *A award.

I guess I'll just have to watch the seat counter and see what it looks like the day-of. Most reports I've read have said the reporting pax was alone in the F cabin (at least on the TK-leased 9w 77ws), so I'm holding out hope.

There is only one F award availability for 676 that day according to ANA.

Checked my booking for BKK/CDG/BKK in July and it has been substituted to a 777-300.... So happy I will get to try the Jet Airways First. Looking for the seatmap but it seems they are not showing the updated seatmap on the website. If someone has a link that works on the TG website, please share.

I did some dummy bookings on the TG website for BKK-CDG-BKK in F in June and it shows the updated 777W seat map ( 8 seats in F, 1-2-1 arrangement).
Cheers

With the introduction of 77W for TG676/677, the TG website is now showing TG640/641 as 744s for dummy booking in November/December.

I have just managed to book an award in August including CDG-BKK and also NRT-BKK. Both are currently scheduled as 77W.
If there is an infamous TG swap I am probably at high risk due to the fact I am flying TG931 on 13/08, the day when there are 2 CDG-BKK flights.

Nevertheless I am very happy and I'm hoping TG doesn't change their minds and swap these aircraft to different routes.

I flew TK F BKK-IST last September and the cabin was fantastic. The seats were amazing and I loved the mood lighting and the stars on the ceiling. That flight however, was a let down due to the poor TK service (and I was the only F pax). I'm really looking forward to flying this cabin with TG FA's ^

What you're seeing is a default schedule, THAI hasn't even start working on the changes on reservation system

BKK-CDG and BKK-NRT TG676/677 is now showing as 773 on all travel websites and on ANA. TG640/641 BKK-NRT have now been changed from daily 747 to daily 744. So both flights have had equipment upgrades .

I wonder where TG will put the AI 77W's (with 4 seats in F)? Will they be run on 2-class routes and kept as 2-class, put on current 2-class routes with a small demand for F or will they be put on current 3-class routes that have low demand in F and rarely fill all seats.

What I meant was the changes in Summer is being carried on in Winter, thus a default schedule.
