Pardon the tone of my previous post , but I was proven right.
Lesson 1 when flying TG : you never know what u gonna get.
I'd be surprised if the first leased 777W entered TG's fleet before this fall.
I hope I will be wrong this time.

Yes, I will. Particularly considering it did not cost me a cent - it's award ticket

Been flying with them for some time now - cheapest feeder to LH from Australia. So far I was lucky, never got old config. This time, bugger... Let's hope I am at least in the new config...

Anyone got any more info regarding date of entry into the fleet and routes on which the 77W's will be operating?

vbroucek According to the 9W press release it looks as though the 77W will be operating by the time of your flight:
March 25, 2010: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, today announced that as part of its strategic fleet and capacity rationalization initiative, the airline signed a new lease agreement, for three of its B777-300 ER aircraft with Thai Airways. The three new wide-bodied 777-300 ER aircraft will be dry leased to the Thai National carrier for a period of three years with immediate effect.
http://www.jetairways.com/EN/GB/Pres.../DryLease.aspx

If it does operate on the BKK-CDG route, I'm sure you will have a wonderful flight in the new cabin

TK announced a while ago that they would not offer F class in the future. So their leased 777 might be returned soon.

We will be on the same flight, that dickie bird better be singing the right tune that day, how about "I love Paris in the summertime when it sizzles"

Correction, misread post to read 2nd June

Checked again , and now the 777W is loaded in TG's booking enegine for my June flight.
Great news . I just hope there won't be another last minute equipment swap...
Can you imagine hoping to get the Jet Airways first class suite and ending up in the 747 all series seat...

I have TG677 NRT-BKK in August in J and it is now a 777-300 from a 747-400 passenger. I hope that the 773 in question is in fact a 77W.

Will be interesting to see what is actually at the gate.

The non ER TG 773 do not have first class seats, so it can only be the 777W.
I have also verified it with a dummy booking which shows 8 seats in F.
2 other things :
1) It looks like TG is introducing sometines in July a second flight to Paris, not daily, but 4 times a week, also on 777W. TG 932 leaves BKK at 11.30 am and lands in CDG at 18.30 . TG 933 leaves CDG at 20.30 and lands in BKK around 12.30 pm .
2) When doing dummy bookings BKK-CDG-BKK after the 777W are introduced , the only premium fares available are the flexible ones in J and F at a whoppping 153,000 and 252,000 THB respectively...

It looks like it.

So they should be, bearing in mind where they work...
