The 777-300 is not better in fact it' possibly worse with a 2-3-2 seating arrangement.

No - 773 has the same seats as 772ER & not too dissimilar to the 772 - but in a tighter 232 config.

it's a -300 not a -300ER. The -300's have also served Melbourne in recent times, I'd prefer the -200/-200ER myself.

I am shocked, stunned even...to report that Seatguru has finally updated it's seat map for the TG 773! It's only taken them about 3 years!

They're missing 2 class 77W but still...it's progress!

I am shocked, stunned that you still use seatguru even though all their seat maps are in the dark ages.

But nothing's preventing them from doing so on the upper deck (but then doing so will create a product inconsistency within the same aircraft!)

At least the seats are an updated version of the ones on the 772s and older 747s (the 7443 version)
Them could sell the lower deck as prem econ. ( same they do on ARN/CPH flights ! )

The reason they did not put the new seat on the 747 is because those seats have not been certified for use on the 747. Though that seat is widely used at this stage, nobody has it on a 747
