Hi,
does anyone know if (or if not when) the NEW First Class is available on the A340-300 flight to Bangkok???
Hi- the A340 do not have the new First Class and Swiss Lurker (official company rep) has posted on more than one occasion that there are no plans to convert the A340s to the new First. Many people BTW actually prefer the older product of First.

The new F is superb and they should refurbish the whole fleet!

C class on A343

Sorry if it has been asked before. I am currently on 5G on the A343 and I can see the lavatory is near my seat.
Is it really bothersome? Also is there a lot of noise from the galley? I do think the mini cabin is better but until now I was always lucky enough to get a seat in row 4. Unfortunately there are no more window seats left on my flight and since I am not SEN or HON I cannot get the single A seats until web check-in and by then they are prob gone already. Thanks!

The lavs are in front of 6A and behind 5K. There is a thick curtain behind row 5. I wouldn't see this as an issue, generally prefer the mini cabin over equivalent seats in the larger second cabin.

Yes. Just a bit more room for your feet than 5AB, which would be the next best set for a couple.

I don't. Nothing against the seat as such, but the IFE needs upgrading. Iknow not everyone watches movies, but I do and it's no fun on this screen
Seat itself show wear and tear. It's time to update or get rid of it.

Just got an upgrade on ZRH-NRT to F. It seems that it's an A340, ie "old" F, but I was pretty pleased with it the last time, too. (and I need new pyjamas, anyway ) I was really desparate with my e-vouchers, but luckily LX Z is still upgradable. ^

Will I get a limo drive from the feeder flight to the F lounge?

No- but you can get a drive from the FCL to the E pier which is usually in a Mercedes Van.

Swiss A343

I can't seem to find any pictures/videos or info on this.
I'm looking at NRT-ZRH on Swiss A343 Business Class. How are these seats? Are there pictures? It's a 12.5 hour flight and I need something comfortable since I can barely deal with 3 hour flights. lol

Easily found on the Swiss website or on this site:
http://www.swiss.com/web/EN/fly_swis...ntinental.aspx

But it's a very nice business seat, and normally a (very) good crew.

Here's a YouTube video:

Here are some of my photos of Swiss Business seats as well as meals, some of which were taken on NRT-ZRH flights.

There are dedicated threads in the Swiss sub-forum about Swiss Business seats, e.g.
