Replace November with February where applicable and my comments are still valid.

I was reading all the rules and couldn’t quite get my head round the one about rollover of elite miles. Is it correct that this only applies to those who earned them by flying (T&Cs mentions exclusion of those through status match and accelerator campaigns) so I guess the only way to extend to Feb 2025 (in my case) is by transferring more miles in ASAP?

Are they though? If instead of "your Gold qualification is now 24 months from November 2021 to November 2023" we now have "your Gold qualification is now 24 months from February 2022 to February 2024" then the 20k elite miles from November 2021 and 3k elite miles from December 2021 drop out of the calculation leaving 2k miles from February 2022, 13k from August 2022 and 13k from December 2022 which would only be good enough for silver, assuming I don't earn any other elite miles any time soon. As I said earlier, I find this very confusing. What do you think?

The roll-over is good news for Krisflyer members as SQ just roles over whatever Elite Miles are shown and your qualification period effectively extends to 24 months. Depending on your future flying and your current Elite Miles balance, you may not need to transfer more points.

So if I just moved enough miles to get Gold (53000 elite miles earned) then these were reset to 0 with a new expiry of February 2023, in addition to membership being extended until February 2024, will any of these 53,000 elite miles be recredited in order to help with 2024-25 qualification. I emailed Krisflyer about this but they just replied asking me to refer to the link on the website, probably because they don’t know how to interpret their own rules! I’ll have to call them.

I'm new to SQ status so I don't have the knowledge you have, which is maybe why I find this confusing, please bear with me. Why is November relevant when I didn't make silver until February? Is it because that was when I first earned miles?

So I just earned KF Elite Gold the other day by transferring 231k miles (used for booking) in early Feb and then 20k last week. I got an email that I now have Elite Gold status but my status is only until February 2023. I thought I would get the February 2024 expiration. Am I missing something? This is how it looks:

Based on the announcement, the extension will be shown when you're up for renewal at the end of Feb 2023.
At this point, any EQM you have earned between now and Feb 2023 will roll over into the next qualifying year, Feb 2023 to Feb 2024.
In other words, if you now continue to earn 50k EQM between now and Feb 2023, those 50k miles will be rolled over into the membership year of Feb 2023 to Feb 2024, which means you will have automatically re-qualified for a further year of Elite Gold that is valid for another year, valid from Feb 2024 to Feb 2025.

Earlier this week I transferred 250K UR to my wife's SQ account, she had no previous SQ status, miles posted, and her status was updated to Silver...I thought she would be updated to Gold, my calls to SQ have gone nowhere.

Write an e-mail to [email protected] and state that you received 50,000 Elite miles on 17 February but no Gold yet.
