KRISFLYER MILES TO BE FURTHER EXTENDED, AND WILL ONLY EXPIRE STARTING FROM APRIL 2022
You have KrisFlyer miles that will be expiring between July 2021 and March 2022.
In view of restricted travel opportunities globally, we will be extending the validity period of all expiring KrisFlyer miles. This means that there will not be any expiry of KrisFlyer miles until April 2022.
The extension of your expiring miles will be carried out in 6-months block. For example, KrisFlyer miles expiring on 31 July 2021 will first be extended for 6 months to 31 January 2022, and at the end of January 2022, the expiring miles will be further extended for another 6 months to 31 July 2022. If you have miles expiring on 31 January 2022, the miles will be extended to expire on 31 July 2022.
The extended validity of your expiring KrisFlyer miles will be reflected in your KrisFlyer account at the end of each respective month. Please click here for details.
You can also find more information on various ways you can utilise your KrisFlyer miles here.
We hope the above measures will offer you more flexibility in utilising your miles before they expire.
Yours sincerely, KrisFlyer Membership Services

I also thought maybe SQ had some routes from the west coast that had F (at least pre-covid)? Any other U.S. cities like Houston, Washington DC or even Toronto?
I was also wondering about London... as doing ORD-LHR (to position myself) and then SQ for LHR-SIN would not be anymore taxing than ORD-JFK-FRA-SIN

SQ1 from SFO to SIN via HKG pre-COVID was done with 4 first class seats.
SQ11 from LAX to SIN via NRT pre-COVID was the same.

I waitlisted for 3 separate dates 2 days ago and received 2 emails with the following title “Ticketing time limit for your upcoming flight(s)”
Your booking will be cancelled if it is not completed by 16 May 2021, 06:00 (GMT +8). If you have other waitlisted flights in this booking, please contact your local Singapore Airlines office to confirm your booking. Do note that the ticketing deadline may change if any of your waitlisted flight(s) becomes confirmed. Thank you for choosing Singapore Airlines and we look forward to welcoming you on board our flight.
Does this mean that the waitlist clears? I tried to follow the instructions by going online to see if I could confirm the flights but it wasn’t showing me that any of the segments I waitlisted become available.
So confused...

For eg, miles expiry is 30/6/21 (assuming pre-Covid situation) u must book flight before 30/6. But the flight can be from 1/7/21 to 30/6/22.
But right now don’t worry SQ will extend your miles for minimum 6 months.

the miles will be extended. And you can book flights before miles expiry. The flight can be within one year of miles expiry.

So I had made a booking for this December that I want to cancel now. There were miles that were expiring right before Singapore announced that they will be extending point expirations until 2022. Because my points were used in the booking and not in my account, it wasn't "extended". When I'm looking at the cancel screen now, it shows that 176,000 points won't be refunded if I cancel through their site. Anyone run into this before? Would Singapore Airlines help desk be able to get my points back? Should I just wait and see if Singapore cancels my flight in December per Covid if Delta gets bad or if Singapore is still not allowing tourists in?
