The matrons do not approve of such activity?

There's only a single bed -- generally meant for one if proper rest is the interest -- in the two cabins (i.e., in Rest Cabin 11 and Rest Cabin 12) that I've used. So perhaps they see two people and decide it's "nej" for "du".

It's rather interesting what kind of looks a "rest cabin user" gets when opening the door. The looks especially from the people sitting near the fireplace and rest cabins can be rather entertaining.

As far as I can recall it said rest cabin 12 on my key as well...
I'm in the lounge currently, and I asked one of the ladies about use of the rooms. She said I as an EBG (forgot to ask about other *A Gold) can get access assuming they are available. First come, first serve. No restrictions on use, only that they are intended for longer layovers or people needing to rest.

Also, there are only two rooms. Both taken.

Haha, so I was right about that one...
It's quite funny that they are called cabin 11 and cabin 12 though...

I've been getting access to the two rest cabins (Rest Cabin 11 and Rest Cabin 12) without using SK EBG; and my boarding passes indicated Y + *G of some variety or another or C and * G of some variety or another.

Sometimes, yes; other times, no. Although soon I will have flown more CPH-China than CPH-DEL.

To answer my own question: No lounge access at KEF while flying SAS.

Hmm, I thought this thread was immune to off-topics by definition?!

I don't recommend flying Continental from Stockholm to EWR in the New York/NJ area, at least not if in coach. Even top-tier elites from DL and NW don't get lounge access. Good thing is that SK will get more of that business.

By the way, I keep running into Swedes in NYC these past couple of days, but no Norwegians. Where are tommy777 and compatriots visiting?

SLC was a UA hub so that was a no brainer. IAH is a little more complex for a *A member depending on what is most important to you. I do prefer to fly with SK whenever pos. but chose CO to IAH the last time from LGW as I usually prefer to always avoid USA connections when I can and often non-hub USA airports are only served by commuter jets. You save about 2 hours or more by choosing an EU connection instead.

*A you have LH from FRA along with AF from CDG and KL from AMS.

If you must or only will fly SK TA then.

From ORD UA flies RJ-170s to IAH and not so comfortable for 2:45 minute flight. Sometimes baggage is limited even further or delayed on arrival if that is a issue and carry-ons may be forced to be checked. AA flies MD-80s at least from there. SK has some fares to connect with AA therefore bookable at online agencies.

From EWR you have great connection with CO with some segments on 757 or 767 available. definately the most comfortable but outside *A.

From IAD UA has only one RJ-170 flight a day and continental also flies only commeter ERJs for this 3 hour plus flight.

In KRS today, TRD tomorrow and then on Thursday, DY to ARN (it was NOK 242 incl taxes, my return is on SK) and the first of my US flights to ORD, going back to Norway on Monday. Then back again to ORD on next Thursday, will be in NYC on July 5th and 6th ^ ^
Back to ORD on the 6th, returning to Norway on the 10th of July

Yeah, talked with our travel agent and she also recommended me to go LH through FRA so now I’m on LH440/441.

Let's just say I've gotten to know FlyNordic and Norwegian airlines better than perhaps I should. And the fares are good.
