I flew FRA-LHR yeasterday evening on the very last flight to LHR, so I watched the first 20 mins of the game in the lounge but then had to leave for the gate.
However in the gate area they had a TV as well, and the ground staff basically had a hard time making people board as everybody wanted to stay as long as possible to watch the game.
Some passengers even suggested to the ground staff they should try to find a way to delay the plane a little bit (it was a UK-bound flight with lots of Brits).
The LH staff were actually quite excited about the game as well...

Well played by both teams!!
I'm actually happy both England and Sweden qualified.
Next, Sweden-Germany on Saturday! Can't wait...

Fun game. After the first half, I was sure England would crush Sverige and score at least 2 more goals. I'm glad Sverige came back and made it exciting. Wayne Rooney didn't look very happy when he got taken off after about 75 mins.

Good luck against Germany. ^

In CPH now!

Hi! I´m in the CPH Gold-lounge now (18:15 danish time) I´ll be here until about 20:00, then I´m off to TRF. Anyone want to grab a beer?

I´m sitting on the working tables, next to the window. Blue shirt....

The TV in the corner of the room looking out toward the Hilton has the TV in the corner that often shows the games.

Anyone here has a clue about how long it takes to get from the gate to the airport train station in FRA??

Think i have about 40 mins from touchdown FRA to my ICE train departs to movingalongs World Cup adventure. Never actually been landside at FRA, just intercont transfer... Only hand luggage goes without saying.

Good luck to all you swedes today (nah... GO GERMANY, payback time for 1814!!)

'i support only 2 teams, norway, and whoever beats sweden'

AND: someone please explain to me why i should choose SK over say.. SQ when SQ gets me svg-per (with a stopover in SIN) for less than SK wants svg-bkk... and this is a 100% miles SQ fare, 6 months in advance.. well well, there goes the bonus miles, but SQ service makes up for it

Found this german site which combines flights and statistics - perfect for me

I filled in my flights since 1/1/2006 - 109 hours in the air so far this year!

Neat for sure. Only issue is that it is a nightmare to punch the ticket.

I think I will have to code a utility that parses a standard IATA e-ticket and submits.

Update: ouch... 60 hours in May and June alone...

Ehh... Not the best program... Doesn't take in to account time zones at all. Example, my first flight this year was DEN-LAS, Departure 0710, Arrival 0759 (local time) There's an hour time difference and the flight is 1:49 minutes. The program tells me the flight was only 49 minutes...

It's a great idea, but it needs to be made easier.

And as for time, I think it would be too disturbing for me to know my numbers....

Actually - you only need to submit the date of the flight. The website will automagically enter the flight time. I've entered almost 100 BP's already and it took me maybe 1.5 hours.

The whole idea of the site is to get one of these really nice posters (high-quality) with all your flights to put in a frame

Thanks for the tip. I found my BP stubs from this year last night. 236 flights so far this year... They are now in my Travel Pro parked by my office door..

After my OSL-LHR tonight, my LHR-ORD tomorrow and my ORD-CHS Friday, I will waste my time putting in my 239 flights
