After awaiting two anxious days, my HH points finally credited. Thought I was going to have to contact them after a change of address appeared to cause some extra levels of information clarification via additional profile questions.

I used to do e-rewards a lot, but I got tired of the surveys and let my account lapse back in 2014. I occasionally receive "We want you back!" emails that offer me HHonors points to rejoin, but I haven't bitten so far.

One of the (minor) irritations for me was that HHonors was the only hotel program that I could redeem points for. I assume that's because I originally signed up via a Hilton invitation.

Does anybody know if there is a way to sign up such that I can redeem for all hotel and airline programs?

I've heard of two ways people got all the redemption options- they joined under a program that later ended the e-Rewards partnership (Northwest/Delta- I'm in that group, probably Wyndham since they ended things last year) or they got an invitation through Ticketmaster years back.

So... when you get the message: "a location that is different from the country for which this survey is intended"....is that the kiss of death?

Time to start up a new account under a new email address?

In my case I just RELOAD (REFRESH) my Chrome browser and try again (usually that would get my survey going and had been able to complete them..).

For me never mattered. E-rewards was not even available to choose in my home country so I had to make up U.K. as my home and everything has worked so far. Or wait...just emptied my account with transfer to IHG since I am fed up with the increasing dysfunctionalities of the surveys. Waste of time now. It was OK while it lasted.

Thank you very much for the head's up on this ^ and I just redeemed 3x$100 just now (and true to form, the points all posted within minutes)
Bolding mine: Looks like the "No restrictions for a limited time" is still in effect as I just redeemed another $100* (and the points again posted within minutes)

*my last HH redemption was on January 18th

Today IHG points posted to my account as NON-qualifying

Surely not a good idea to contact Customer Service, is it?

Is it over then?
