So, I could care less anymore if e-rewards ssems to think I've been living in Addis Ababa the last couple years and no longer fit their profile

Not sure, See attached for discussion
My enthusiasm has waned a little after trying it out, as basically just a bunch of 50-100 point surveys for like 15-20 minutes of your time.
Doesn't appear to be EQ, the points post within minutes though.

Hope it isn't the program United uses..... Forgot the name, but it can be brutal.

IHG OCI: 50-70 points for 15-20 mins is roughly 1200 mins for 4000 points.
No joy there!
* e-rewards' IHG payout level is poor, but 1/4 that is ridiculous.
* Within e-rewards, IHG is about the worst value there is. Redeem for something more valuable and the hourly rate for OCI becomes around 1/8 the e-rewards rate.
* IHG earnings from e-rewards count as elite qualifying. OCI doesn't.

e-rewards: "$5" for 15 min is roughly 300 mins ("$100") for 4000 points.

I was replying to a post about IHG OCI being an alternative to e-rewards. As OCI points don't post as qualifying, your comment is utterly irrelevant, as OCI won't help anyone requalify for anything.

Yep. SSI surveys for IHG arw not elite qualifying, but erewards are.
No matter, I needed 1200 points for an IHG redemption, and then suddenly got an invite to join their survey panel. Instant 1000 points, and the other 200 were easy enough.
For SSI surveys, I prefer jetblue points. I can spend 5 minutes a day to get 100 points. Also not elite qualifying.
However leclub accor points from SSI are elite qualifying, but there is no credit for not qualifying.

It is nice to have the option for instant points posting. The issue I ran into with the UA one (in addition to the terrible earning rate) was even though I wanted to keep it open just in case I needed a few points, after no longer doing the surveys, the only way to stop the email survey alerts was to cancel the account.
Excuse me ? I was responding why I thought the IHG e-rewards redemption is a good option. Seeing this is the e-rewards page, I think it is "utterly relevant" thank you for your comment though.

But for me, I've been locked out of e-rewards(Countless emails, country error code, profile doesn't fit, etc) for a couple years now so 5 points is still better than zero.

Was doing a 40 minute survey for a cheap $10.00 and 69% into it; i.e., 30 minutes, it dumped me saying I didn't qualify. Really want to use a nasty word right now.....but...
Just logged in and checked.....yup, they gave me $0.25. Really not good today....those dogs! lol

has anyone held a large balance in their e-rewards account? basically, i just want to know if holding a large balance will prevent survey invites. or should i transfer to partners every time i get to ~$100.

I'm UK based and have around 22000 points (about $200???) sitting in my e-rewards account. I still get invites at arguably the same frequency as when my balance is low.
