How many redeemable Alaska miles would one earn booking AMD-SIN-MAN-IAH? 42,280 or 28,180?
Alaska shows a 100% bonus but OMAAT calculated it based on 200%, unless I'm just reading it all wrong?

I'm counting on OMAAT being right (and he usually is). Without any sort of elite multiplier, the redeemable is looking like 100% + 100% for discount business (U,D) or 2X actual miles traveled.
My o/w AMD -> SIN (2,580 mi) / SIN -> EWR (9,535 mi.) should yield ~24,230 redeemable miles. [ 2 X (2580 + 9535) ].

Hope this clarifies it for you. I love how easy it is to earn meaningful RDM on AS. BA accrues EQM & RDM in premium Classes. West coast USA/CAN to CPT SA in First A would earn enough EQM to attain MVPG and produce 101K RDM. A little off topic, but available for $6.5K return. Do that in January 2019 and you are MVPG until the end of 2020.

has anyone had any success pricing this D fare out through a portal? i've tried UR/MR online and by phone, and nobody seems to be able to price it, claiming various reasons (no seats left, fare changing, all of which are not true). EF shows D4 for many dates still, and i can get seats/everything through payment on SQ website.
cash poor & points rich (gold 75k), using only 86k UR (1.5cpm), earning ~40k AS is not a bad option!!

The situation is especially bad around early-December to late-January when many flights easily get 3-4 hours delay due to havoc caused by dense fog across North India, which includes Delhi. Now November is also bad due to air pollution around Delhi (last year United cancelled EWR flight for several days just because of this).
Long story short, flight delays are common and airports are not efficient where simple task like going through immigration + security check could easily take more than an hour. Adding to extreme weather conditions things can get even worse. Make sure to have plenty of time for lay-over at Indian airports.

Folks I don't recommend a quick transit in AMD, especially if there is domestic-int'l terminal transfer required. They are in different terminals that require a car transfer, with the exception that all Air India DEL-AMD flights arrive/depart from international terminal.

I have not booked the flight between DEL and AMD yet (not traveling on this itinerary until next year). I have a number of days to enjoy India, and definitely can arrive at AMD the night before (if not more to check out the city), which would give me at least 24 hours before the SQ flight.
Thank you!

I thought I put enought time between my flights... however, your post makes me a little nervous. My plan is as follows:
- 28.10.2018, 09:35 am: Landing in DEL with Air India, coming from CDG
- 28.10.2018, 13:30 pm: Flight from DEL to AMD with IndiGO
- 28.10.2018, 15:15 pm: Landing in AMD
- 28.10.2018, 23:05 pm: Depart from AMD with SQ
In AMD, since you are arriving in late afternoon there wouldn't be enough time for sightseeing as most of them close in the evening. I'd recommend getting a room near-by the airport (like The Ummed Ahmedabad) and relax there.
