Yes, both arriving then departing immigration. Do note that i go on e-Visa lane that has no Q.
If you are doing SQ turnaround, IMO do not check in any bag as you may not have much time to collect.

Thanks. I have not been to India at all. So, the eVisa lanes for both reaching landside and airside were empty? Are there priority lanes for premium class passengers?

eVisa lane is most of the time quite empty. No priority lanes, there are prio lanes for normal visa (zero wait).

eVisa lane on arrival/airside, you will see it down the escalator, very small and simple airport.
landside no eVisa/premium lane. Only few immigration. No Q when i cleared. Don't worry! You have plenty time to wait around still & thats if you have no checked bag.

Do you need to pass immigration? Does the staff in Singapore knows you are doing turn around? I am thinking to do the same. SQ530 on eco and SQ531 on biz on one trip and the opposite on the return.

just saw your post #98 . so you have no issue with immigration to do turn around?
Any idea if I can simply throw away the final SIN-AMD leg if I buy round trip?
