Yesterday I looked for a SIN-HNL-IAH flight and the
search came back something like "No NW/KL or codeshare flights exist". Then at another try flights popped up. I have similar incidents arbitrarely come up this way. Yes, gotta love the new site. |
Have to wonder how much money NWA is losing when people who want to give them money can't.

Unable to select seats on KLM flights
This is probably more of a gripe than a bug, but I have noticed that if you select Business Class you can select seats on KLM city-hopper flights with all coach cabins. You are not able to select seats on the exact same flight, in the exact same cabin, if you are a coach passenger. What purpose could this possibly serve? Please fix this..

That being said, I think this is more a KLM policy that prevents advance seat assignments. |

Maybe they just appear more focussed because they know very little, so they get hired by other stupid people and later they take over. Of course, you often find this in the less-than-huge corporate world. I once tried calling this contractor using my work phone and after a couple times I left a message saying, "Hi, I've been calling... I'm trying to give you money to come look at my house. I have an 800 number so calling me back is fee for you..." It didnt work either. But I don't think he's in business anymore anyway. Probably too lazy. |
Speaking of wanting to give Northwest money, but not being able to, as a resident of Mexico, I cannot book using NWA.com. They have websites for more than 50 countries, Mexico isn't one of them.
So I just fly Continental... |
nwa.com fare pricing is down, as of right now:
nwa.com Reservations is temporarily unavailable. We are upgrading our site. To purchase tickets immediately, please call Northwest Reservations at 1-800-225-2525. Otherwise, please try back in a few minutes. Thank you for your patience. Continue on to the Northwest Airlines homepage Steve B. |
My SE Asia to Europe booking problems are now solved, I can book these on both the US and SIN sites with stopovers etc. Was able to find the exact itinerary I had book my wife into with an award. Let's hope that stays
Very quiet on this thread lately, have all our problems been solved?? ;-) |
Asia Award Booking Co- Cannot Price
I started a thread about this.....but i guess i could put this on here too as it regards bugs on nwa.com.
I'm trying to book an award solely within Asia NRT-HKG. After doing a search..no NW direct flight was available. I found a routing that gets me there through GUAM all on Continental. I didn't mind as long as i got there. And to my surprise, all the award levels were available. Each leg is 12500..total should be 25000 right? NOPE: The system continuously prices it out at 50K.:mad: Called WP..said that this itinerary was not valid/ or could not price. One time even got a guy who said i must take a direct flight from NRT-HKG. Definitely a glitch in the system...if it's not..they should just take the itinerary down or reprice the itin so that the 12500 is not available. and say that only the PerkPass option is available. |

Guys, I'm unable to make either of these errors happen so I have not listed them on the list in the main post. Let me know if these are still bugs for you. (GBadger - be sure to mention the web browser that you're using if the error occurs).
Thanks, RM It's hit and miss as far as the error goes. Just now, I tried a multicity search: MSN-DTW-SEA-HNL-MSP-MSN with non-stops only. Didn't get the above error, but did get the: No Northwest Airlines or codeshare partner flights were found that matched your request. There may be limited service to or from these cities. Try modifying your search options including a change to your cabin class, dates of travel or city pairs. Check our service destinations and routes or search for alternatives on orbitz.com. message. Unless I missed something, all of those routes should be valid. Same thing comes up for MSN-DTW-SEA-MSP-MEM-MSN... |

Can someone else in this situation (using the Customer First policy to refund a ticket online) try it and let us know if it succeeds or not? I'm wondering if this is a one-off bug or a larger problem w/ the website.
Thanks, -RM |
