1. Mazda 6
2. Ford Fusion
3. Hyundai Sonata/Nissan Altima
What is your advice for the car with the best bang for your buck? I'm going to do a 3 week road trip around CA and NV, so it needs to be a car that's also fun and pleasant to drive on curvy roads. I rather have that than (ie.) leather seats.

Look for a Fusion with the 2.0L ecoboost turbo engine. Any Fusion in Titanium trim level (there will be a badge on the rear) will have the 2.0L. If the Fusions have a 1.5L ecoboost or base 2.5L normally aspirated engine, look for a Mazda 6. Enjoy your trip.

Went to the ES today around 6pm. A very small, but quality selection:
2 Volvo XC60
2 Volvo S60
Camero Convertible
Mustang Convertible
Dodge Durango
and Several various minivans
Ended up taking the Durango; roomy, powerful and full of features.

All the ones I've seen have been Limited 2WD, regardless of station. That's not to say lower trims don't exist in the wild, but I haven't seen them.

I passed one over on ES in SEA last week (and a Grand Cherokee Limited next to it), and it very well could have been 4WD, I didn't pay close enough attention. Honestly, it's quite possible I've driven a 4WD model and didn't even notice...

Last Saturday at noon on the ES:
Several each of Camaro coupes, Camaro verts, Mustang coupes, Mustang verts (one with 40k miles!). Took one of the Mustang convertibles.
Nothing else stood out as particularly interesting.
PS included Maximas, new Impalas, and an Altima (??)

I took the only 2015 Chevy Suburban LT available, had way too much luggage with the family. Would've been nicer if it were an LTZ but I don't mind so much for a 3-day rental.
