Sitting on the rental car facility bus now. In addition to what was noted by maestrowei, I found the selection to be much better stocked than usual. Several Maximas, an s60, and a G37 all up front. The Avalon was a new 2012. There was also an Acadia SLT, several Town Cars, and at least one additional 3 series.
Jack, get yourself back there quickly!

Were those in the ES or the VIP line?

Yes the selection on Monday mornings is almost always better than that on Thursday/Friday nights.
I picked up twice on Sundays around 11AM and both were comparable selection to what you saw. Maybe you need to show up even earlier...

Flyertalk BWI National Meet N Greet 2012, let's go! Bringing it back on topic...
Friday 0030 hours (missed a connection, blahhh)
I'm very curious as to when they restock for the morning rush. Return lanes were absolutely empty (I expected overflows from Thursday returns) and the lot was pretty slim pickings
ES Highlights:
Dodge Ram -- Heavy smoke odor
LTZ Impala x3
2012 Camry
EA:
Focus SE
Fusion SEL
200 Convertible -- which I took for the nicer weather this weekend. I swear this thing is slower than a Hertz Corolla. At least it has a nice cushy ride, until you hit a pothole
Luxury/Premium/VIP
Lacrosse
Maxima
XC70
Genesis
MKZ x2
MKX

The thing is with convertibles, if you drive fast enough the rain doesn't get into the car. Putting on your ski gear also helps with the cold.
Monday 0500
Bland Selection
ES/EA
Optima
Impala/Malibu/Charger
A few of the employees cars parked there too!
Premium/VIP
Lacrosse
Maxima x2
Avalon x2 (the broken down one from last week was repaired)

How did the rental car swap go Jack?

Some talking points
Have not seen a Volvo there in a while. VWs are almost always there.
Two weekends ago was Eclipse heaven... 5 or so spotted
Seeing more 2012 Camrys
Haven't seen the 2012 Avalons in a while, maybe all one-wayed out or broke
I have noticed that almost every week I go, an XAR car or two is hiding in EA.
Good luck

Friday PM
Pretty bland
Premium. Nobody was monitoring and people started driving off with Grand Marquis and Buick SUVs. Nothing of value was lost. Haven't seen a 300 or a CC or even a Maxima in a while.
Saw 2 Avalons, took one.
Good representation of FCARS - Fusions (one V6), Camrys, Impalas, Malibus (no LTZ), Chargers. VWs. No Mazdas.
SUVs... some pretty loaded Edges and Explorers, but I don't know jack about SUVs. Rouge, Jeeps, a few Dodges. No GMC or Chevy
