Was that the car you took one-way from EWR to DTW?

It sounds like

1) they're getting greedy, and are so hopeful someone will pay an upgrade fee, they won't rent it out for free upgrades

and/or

2) they want to hold the mileage for a bit, since it came on a long distance one-way.

It was kind "across" from the office on the left - dark color (black?).

You know, I didn't remember to look but just looked at my receipt and it was a NJ plate car - so could very well be - it had 5500ish miles on it.

Yup, black or some other dark color across from the office. Not me who brought it in, but I do find it interesting that it is still there. I think Auto Enthusiast may be on to something though, they may be holding out for the upgrading customers with it. I bet it had the "Rent me, I'm a Hybrid" sign on top of it also.

If that's their plan, station management really needs to get a grip on the local market.

Really, Really bad selection.

Exec.
1X Passat (MI)
1X Altima (OH)
1X Lacrosse (MI)

Aisle:
What color Impala would you like?
No Malibu's

Well here it goes. I tried the Passat; old people slowly placing luggage in back. Altima smelt like a sewer (note: If you see a silver Altima 2.5S with Ohio plates run:run very quickly) Tried the Lacrosse but it was locked and low and behold the keys were sitting on the armrest (just as I was leaving a locksmith was trying to get into it)

I asked the booth lady and she told me to ask one of the people working on the floor to see if they had anything in return. I asked the guy and he said he would find something.

He pulled up in a fire engine red Impala LS (IN), said there's something different for ya and walked away. I quickly parked it and chose a grey LTZ

Got a Traverse this past week. XM DVD player with headphones perfect for the kids and 1200 miles on it. Didn't even use the car that much but it was a great pick from the executive selection. Returned this am and saw a few jeeps in there and plenty of SUVs
